1.) NFL rule states balls have to be inflated to a set pressure.
2.) The rule DOES NOT differentiate if it was intentional or not.
3.) Teams provide their own balls.
Now...please explain why the same league that fines players for not wearing socks the right way hasn't fined your team.

The Pats should take the air out of their fan's heads to inflate the balls properly.

The Flats* should take the air out of their fan's heads to inflate the balls properly. LoL they would explode. Enough to pop every ball for every team for the next 50 years and then some. (the balls are inflated to 100psi in the factory before going out... to ensure there are no leaks btw)

So there is now zero chance Goodfuckhell will do anything before the SB. Fine. How much fun will it be to see chants of "cheaters" and talking heads playing it up over and over PLUS, wrestlemainia this sport has become, means zero chance the cheatriots will be allowed to win. Sweet revenge followed by the hammer following week so assboy can save some face with the public. I'm good with it.

"The person responsible and, if appropriate, the head coach or other club personnel will be subject to discipline, including but not limited to, a fine of $25,000." The rule doesn't provide for an automatic fine on the team in question and the "person responsible" is not as easily identified as someone who is wearing socks the wrong way.

Jesus fucking Christ (which would be interesting to see) which part of the OPs point do they fail to see? "Jan 27, 2015 23:58:17 GMT -5PK said: 1.) Damn, even the respectful (semi smart) Flats* fans are sinking to assbag's level of stupidity/desperation. That's how you know it's really bad.

They are getting out of it. Negligence by referees. The refs didn't use a gauge. They used the "feel test". Pats win on technicality.

IMO, it is to determine the amount of the fine and whether to hand out individual punishments. Quite frankly, I've been saying all along that if the fix was in, the NFL would rely on the above stated logic and simply fine the Flats* $25,000 and move on. However, I do believe the statistical analysis of the Flats* fumble rate (especially in bad weather) is going to create a shit storm for the NFL to deal with. The bottom line is that there is no amount of practicing and drilling that can explain the Flats* consistently low fumble rates since they got their hands on the balls to prep them in 2007. They were merely an average team as to fumble rates prior to 2007. Seriously, if these numbers have a relation to the ball being deflated, this is way bigger than spygate. www.slate.com/articles/sports/sports_nut/2015/01/stats_show_the_new_england_Deflatriots_became_nearly_fumble_proof_after_a_2006.2.html
