Just had a Seltzer’s Smokehaus 7 smoked ale. Tastes like smoked meat. Fantastic. Glad that you liked it. Personally, I’m not a fan of flavored beers. On a hot summer day, maybe a Summer Shandy. I hope you don't consider IPA's "flavored." We're in the Golden Age of craft brews, especially IPA's and stouts.

I'm not crazy bout the smoked meat flavored beer. Thought I would like. Nah. I can taste it now. Just don't like so much

I can't shake that crisp Champagne of Beers. IPA's out in this hot dry place...don't slake. Miller High Life.
Throw a creamy Guinness in there from time to time for the black and tan

I’m more of a pale ale guy leaning towards Belgian, German and Austrian pilsners. Boring..yes. I’ll admit it. Just not into that battery acid taste.

All of the Steely Dan talk in another thread got me thinking: The Song Reelin In The Years is cool. However there is one lyric that I have butchered for years.... Your everlasting summer You can see it fading fast So you grab a piece of something That you think is gonna last But you wouldn't know a diamond If you held it in your hand The things you think are precious I can't understand Are you reelin' in the years Stowin' away the time Are you gatherin' up the tears Have you had enough of mine It sounds nothing like gatherin’ up the tears to me. Sounds more like gatherin’ up the cheese to me. Kind of like Blinded by the Light Well she was Blinded by the light Revved up like a deuceAnother runner in the night Sounds like wrecked up like a douche to me... Common mistakes pork.... But with one correction... Mfs DEFINITELY saying "wrapped up like a DOUCHE" and there's no way around that. I think it was there way around the sensor of the time, by claiming they were saying "deuce" I bet they still all get a great chuckle to themselves about that at the secret society meetings Why would Bruce be wrapping up douches?

Why would Bruce be wrapping up douches? Seems dumb. Its "cut loose a big deuce." Unless Bruce was working at the local CVS, your version makes more sense. Cut loose a big deuce, indeed.
