Would rather we sign Maxwell and Cro and let our young guys develop than blowing a wad on Revis. Following that go and sign Houston. A premier pass rusher will do more for our defense than one shutdown corner.

So...Pats will lose their first round pick for deflategate.
Then Pats get Jets first pick for tampering with Mevis.
Sounds about par for the course.

I expect us to be looking at every CB with a pulse.

Exactly Hell, you could potentially sign Maxwell, Cromartie and a guy like Kareem Jackson or Buster Skrine with the money that it would take to bring back Revis. You honestly don't think that he'll once again demand a longterm contract paying him as the best CB in the league? He's stayed healthy all year and has proven to be at worst the 2nd best CB in the league. He's going to want more than the $14 million a year that guys like Sherman, Haden and Peterson make.

can't understand the absolute hatred for this guy. our owner MADE idzdick trade him. then refused to resign him and like anyone, went where the money was. i'm still a revis fan and would love for him to be back. wouldn't come near 20 million for the guy though.

If the Patsies do not win the SB, I will stomach Revis returning to the Jets(barely).
I do not want him to bring one of of Bellichek's rings for the Jets to kiss....

If the Pats lose today Revis is a Jet next season. With Revis this team would have won 8 games. However, I'm glad we will get Cooper since we were so bad but next year a receiving core of Cooper, Decker, Kerley and a CB group of Revis, Milliner, McDougle, Walls, Adams are worth at least 9 wins.

That's not ground zero. There's a lot of history that preceeded him being traded away. And appreantly Jets and buffalo are the two teams in play for him. No thanks

The Jets have a ton of cap space, are rebuilding and are in NY. EVERY big Free Agent name is going to be linked to us.

While I think he's a great player and will always like him, I don't see him coming back here. First of all, if he did sign with the Jets, then there would definitely be some sort of tampering accusation with enough credibility to be penalized. Secondly, he has had nothing but a contentious relationship with the owner, with his multiple holdouts.
Does Buffalo really have a need for a cornerback? Revis will cost a lot. Rex wants him, but he's not the GM. I think Buffalo has more glaring needs for the 20 mil.

No thanks i get it. he held out a couple times and wanted money. he's arguably the best player the Jets ever drafted. he's still young, in his prime, hasn't been injured in the last 2 years and had a great season this year. i'd definitely bring him back.
