If you can name one worse football fate than being a jets fan, I would LOVE to hear it. The shit that has happened to us is incomprehensible. It would be one thing if the cheatriots deserved to win that game. but did Seattle? they played pretty pathetically for almost the whole game except for a few standout plays and a few strokes of incredible luck Someone gets it. Pats outplayed the Seahawks for most of the game, no crazy penalties that affected any major plays. They beat them straight up, and a terrible coaching decision cost the Seahawks a chance to take a close game. No more, no less.

The stars were aligned fior another patriot Super Bowl loss because of a miracle catch by the other teams WR. That's as much joy as I get from a Super Bowl lately ... Seeing the Flats* get their hearts ripped out at the end. But no. You fucking had to throw it after beast mode just ripped 5 yards to the one. Marty M wouldn't even have been that fucking dumb. Life of a Jets fan. You could argue that this game was a top-10 important game in Jets franchise history in terms of impact on the fanbase's emotions. And the Jets had nothing to do with it.

Except the no call where the Pats CB got beat, tripped and reached out to pull down a Seattle WR on 3rd and long, the long throw that Kearse dropped and the Failure to run Lynch at the end... any one of those plays likely changes the outcome of this game.

I can understand the play call. Pats likely expecting run, so throw the ball. Incomplete stops the clock, complete scores 6. Except I wouldn't have thrown it over the middle. Too risky. That ball gets tipped even, and it's bad news, maybe a play action pass would have been a better call. So I understand the reasoning behind the call, just baffled at the particular play call.

Whoever the fuck made that call, no, whoever even thought of it for a sec, should be shot and pissed on, literally shot and pissed on. Give that guy to Isis, the only be-heading I will approve of, well maybe that's too harsh, but I am pissed.
I just can't believe it. Ok, what can we call to fuck this up, well, let's catch them off guard and call a pass play, bang your dead. You can even make a case that the hit on the receiver was early, and it was, does not matter, Lynch up the gut, he rarely misses, he is what got you there.
fuck!

Bevell throwing Lockette under the bus saying he "could have been stronger to the ball." What a POS.

Bevell throwing Lockette under the bus saying he "could have been stronger to the ball." What a POS. Yeah really, it didn't even look like it was that great a throw either. Even Wilson had to be wondering why the fuck they were passing the ball in that spot, they don't have a great TE or WR to begin with.

We're Monday Morning Quarterbacking, but seriously...these guys are around football all their lives and thought this was the right call in that situation? Carroll himself says "they were goal line defense and bunched in the middle..." so the best call there is a throw OVER THE MIDDLE against an attacking defense? You don't want to run Marshawn? I disagree, but whatever. But where was the play-action bootleg, where Wilson has a run / pass option? Where was the fade pass so it's your guy or no guy? If you're running the pic play, run it for the guy who's breaking outside, not the guy who's breaking inside? It was just a colossal fuckup. Bevell throwing a scrub like Lockette under the bus makes him a piece of shit and I'm glad he's not coming here.

Carroll is taking credit for the call. Said the Pats were in goal line defense so they would try to pass on 2nd and run on 3rd.
...the Pats were in goal line defense...
...on the goal line...
...huh.

What were they thinking? Lynch was on fire...with one time out run it! that bitches is like Satan converting Jesus like Voldemort splattering Harry Potter Like Hitler holding the beach at Normandy . Really Fuckin BaD ShiT hAppEnD tonight. totally agree. what was it, 2nd down at the 1/2 yard line? couldn't russel have sneaked it in? completely stupid to call a pass with the line bunched up. would've been better to call a play action. thank you pete carroll, again.
