in the "New Free Agency Era", the new CBA. So hard to retain good players around you that's all the blabbing heads can talk about. drowning_zpskd3m9wm7Comparing him to the greats of the past who had it 'easier' because they weren't saddled with the "constraints" he is. Somehow everyone has forgotten about the new rules which make it impossible to touch the QB (esp. if your last name is Brady and you get special rules made up just for you), and the 'new era' of offensively slanted rules that make it impossible to breathe on a WR trying to catch the ball. This makes 4000 passing yard seasons routine now. OF course, this has nothing to do with his ability to set and break records and achieve in this 'new era'. Nothing

Turned off the TV before the last kneel down and won't be turning on any sports channels until at least the Combine just to avoid the constant love fest that is undoubtedly happening. Deflated footballs? What deflated footballs? All is forgiven and forgotten.

Goodell is a ball-less, spineless sack of shit.

I don't know how you have a conversation about Brady and BB's legacy without spygate being a big part of it. And if found guilty, deflategate will also have to play a big part in those discussions as well. Zero Superbowl's without cheating hardly puts you in the discussion for best ever. Although, the media seems to dismiss spygate like it didn't happen when it comes to discussing those two cheating fucks.

What's the challenge for brady? The pats have had a great roster pretty much every year he has been there. Players like to win and a team with a HOF QB tends to win. It's no surprise they are able to bring in good players consistently.

Zero Superbowl's without cheating hardly puts you in the discussion for best ever. So Otto Graham, Dan Marino and John Elway are all out of the discussion?

It really is once-in-a-generation type phenomenon that is going on here. Seriously, an unknown skinny kid from Michigan who was the 199th pick in the draft being talked about at the GOAT at his position? The god's were smiling on this guy, I don't care how many hours of film he watches, how much time he spends keeping himself healthy, how many blowjobs he gets from his Victoria Secret model wife. Right place, right time. The Parcell's era changed that franchise's culture, and the planets were aligned perfectly to take advantage of their unbelievably good fortune. We just have to ride it out. As long as he is there, they will attract top player, coaching and front office talent. However, if SparkleBrady gets injured, decides to retire, or starts to really decline in his performance, the Flats* will eventually be just another team trying to be relevant, attract free agents that prefer to go to the next big thing (which is hopefully the Jets), and struggle to remain competitive and make the playoffs.
It's our turn. The seeds of change have been planted. As SparkleBrady declines, the Jets will be on the rise, and we'll be the next team that has built a great foundation, and is ready to take advantage of it's unbelievably good fortune one day in the near future. And no, Geno is not the answer. That piece is not yet on the Jets' roster.

Nothing definitely good points about SparkleBrady. not that he sucks but just like the nba had jordan rules the nfl has a set of SparkleBrady rules. SparkleBrady and the Flats*ies get away with tons of intentional groundings and holding. how about that crossing pattern in the second half where the Flats*ie defender while falling down intentionally reached out and tripped the seattle receiver. of course it was a non call. and a really good point was made today on weei (of all places) about why montana is still the greatest. the point was that montana had to go against much stronger teams to win the superbowl like the giaints, bears, eagles, redskins, etc. i remember that game where lt leveled montana. montana was knocked all the way back to south bend. brady has never had to face such fierce defenses nor has he ever been hit as hard as montana has.

Brady > Montana
If Montana was so good, why did he only get a loaded 49ers team to only 4 Super Bowl games?
