Good interview but like most interviews at this time of year, it tells us very little. Which is a good thing. Glad to see Maccagnon seems comfortable in the job.

The FO and coaching staff have been awfully quiet so far. I'm so used to Rex talking things up around this time.

Good video. Was just about to post it as well. Maccagnan looking at RB, WR, OT, OLB as the strengths of this Draft.

Maccagnan looking at RB, WR, OT, OLB as the strengths of this Draft. Sounds good to me -- these are all positions where we need to be younger and more ahtletic -- especially the skill positions and OLB.

It seems like a decade since we've spent an early pick on a true OLB. We've gotten by with free agents and have used picks Inside on Harris and Demario Davis, but we could really use a top guy in that 2nd level of the defense. The Jets have used lots of picks on the D-Line (Wilkerson, Richardson, Coples, Ellis) and Secondary (Milliner, McDougle, Pryor, etc.) but seem to have ignored LB a bit, especially on the outside. Time to make an investment there!

The implosion of Vagina Gholston, much like an atomic bomb, has created a radioactive deadzone preventing the FO from reinvesting in the position for some time... at least that is what I told myself every time they passed on a good prospect.

I really can't watch this guy's interviews. He's so fucking boring. I mean I think there's quality there but his delivery is so "blahblahmurmurblah" that I can watch it for about a minute and then I'm multitasking and then I am not paying attention at all to whatever he's saying. He needs some acting classes or something. I wouldn't be surprised if that's why he didn't get hired in the past. Because clearly he's one of the best scouts out there. But he's not going to sell you on anything with that monotone mushmouth shit.
This doesn't bother either. I'd rather have a guy that isn't a moron running the show than a likable talking head.

Like you said, as long as he communicate his plan with the people in the building and the actual people of importance, I couldn't give two shits if he is any good with the press/addressing fans.
