If NE gets Harvin, you might as well just hand them the Lombardi for next year. Brady turned a no-name like Edelman into a star. Imagine what he'd do with Harvin? Scary. We really gotta keep this guy next year, whatever the cost.

Love these predictions from signing a player who contributes as little as he does.

If NE gets Harvin, you might as well just hand them the Lombardi for next year. How many "crazy-scat-never-know-where-they-will-line-up" dudes does the Flats* offense really need at this point? Edelman is already locked up, they don't need Harvin at some ridiculous price. Flats* are gonna be extremely boring this offseason, focus on Revis, McCourty and Vereen and shore up the lines in the draft. Don't forget Easley and based on reports Flats* expect him to contribute big-time after a red-shirt year. Yawn. See you in the AFCCG. (well not the Jets, but somebody...)

Patriots wanted to draft him until the Vikings scooped him up and sent BB scrambling to trade down to Ron Brace country. But as much as Belidick likes UF guys with character risks, I can't see this happening.

I'm actually really worried about this and would keep Harvin for that reason alone. If he goes there, Belidick will turn him into an absolute weapon and DESTROY the Jets next year. The absolute worst reason to keep an overpriced player is because you're scared someone in your division will pick him up.

Other than the Flats* don't have a lot of cap room and have some checks to write to Revis etc. And of course to sign every single high profile players who are released around the league. Flats* will have plenty of cap room when it comes time, and besides, the $10.5 million figure is only significant to the Jests. Once released, he'll be lucky to fetch $6-7.5 million per on maybe a two year deal. Mods, can we get the auto-filter to change Jests to Jets? That'll show those trolls

so then the jets (or buffalo) should just make a good run at revis and run up the Flats*ie payroll. the Flats*ies aren't going to pay revis 20million. they will let him out fully expecting to get him back for less money but more up front and a longer term. so the jets should make a good offer that will give revis pause to think. No way the NEPs release him, thinking they will get a discount. Jets can't make an offer unless NEPs release him. So, unless the Jets tamper, he will have no idea what they will pay him. And the Jets would never cheat. same difference. if the patsies are that stupid to keep revis for 20 million then they're welcome to him. go watch the superbowl tape again and tell everyone if revis was that much or a difference. revis was a factor but he was no where near the deciding player that he should be.

Its not the SB you need to watch, its the whole season. 20 mil...no. But they'll offer alot for what he can give them.

You're a damn fool if you think he doesn't go to the highest bidder, period, and doesn't fully exercise his right of free agency. A damn fool.

Tampering? Against the Jets' interests?
