I think it will be difficult for The Jets to attract many WR's due to our uncertain situation at QB If you're a FA WR, and still fairly young like Hartline, you want to go to a situation that is better suited to get you the ball more often. Not saying The Jets won't get a few guys, but they'll have to pay more, and offer more guarantees to attract the WR's Most guys like Hartline won't get big guaranteed deals until they re establish their worth.....so why chance your future with Geno, who sucks. Money brings them in.

shocked by the Miami cuts, what the hell is wrong with that franchise?? Anyways, lets bring in Dockett and kick the tires for depth, could be a good pickup and previously ran in Bowles system. Before the cuts they were only $5under the cap, now they're $12 million under. $5 million of that has to go to their draft picks. They have 22 players from last year who are FA's this off season and only have $7 million in space to replace them. Bad situation in Miami.

The idiots over at fish site praising the cutting of Hartline and Gibson & talking about bringing in guys like Dockett, Fasano, Bush, Hawk, etc. They don't even have the money to sign their own players back. Rude awakening coming there soon for sure.

I can see Maclin as he fits in Lazors system.

Surely the Jets will have a look at signing Dockett. Knows Bowles' defence.

Also checking Johnson stats had best years under Gailey. You might be on to something, a lot of people see Cobb as the sexier choice, but production & value on $$ this would be better route.

Done. I think both Dockett and Cromartie could be guys that help "bring the Bowles defense" to the Jets and can help the team assimilate the system. Obviously neither is a stud and both have some injury concerns but they're good "hold the fort" kinda guys who I wouldn't mind having for depth and playing a certain percentage of snaps. I could ideally see a scenario where Cro starts the season and is eventually replaced by an up-and-coming rookie or healthy and improving McDougle. What are we hearing about Worilds from Pitt? Is he going to hit the market? That would be an instant upgrade to our passrush and really give us flexibility at #6 to go WR, CB or another Best Player Available.

Yeah I read somewhere that Pitt is going to let Worlds test FA. He would be an immediate upgrade obviously and the Jets have the money to spend.

I wouldn't mind upgrading both OLB positions if we could, maybe a FA like Worilds and a rookie. Calvin Pace is decent at best and should be a stopgap. You can trust him when he's in there but he isn't close to being a difference maker.

Johnson gets nicked up all the time, Kerley can be just as good as royal is he is utilized correctly. But Cobb is the real deal.
