This board unnecessarily hates on the o-line so badly. They really didn't play THAT poorly last year.

I'm not sure that getting two guys at OG is necessary. Sure, it would mean instant plug-and-play starters but I think that Oday Aboushi and Dakota Dozier should compete for one spot, with Winters hanging around as a backup.

I'd cream pants if we brought in both Boling and franklin. Absolutely cream. Add Kareem Jackson, one wr and a Mo extension and its a huge success Maybe get Culliver too...

Aboushi wasn't terrible but he's barely JAG material. I wouldn't say there's no need to upgrade the position when it's been a problem for a while. The Dozier's and Aboushi's on the roster are quality backups and nothing more IMO. Winters shouldn't even be on the team once we sign new guards. He was atrocious and I'm not sure if that was because he was hurt or he's out matched. Here's to hoping Gurley falls to the Jets in the 2nd round and that we're smart enough to draft him.

A first class O-line makes living with a second class QB tolerable. Since the latter is inevitable the former becomes non-negotiable. Of course a couple of guys that can catch wouldn't hurt.
