How would you feel if you're Christian Ponder right now? He was also buried on the Vikings depth chart and completely forgotten, and Rex chose Cassel over him. Who cares?

Serious question - which team has the worst QB in the division right now? Jets or the Bills? Not really.

I don't see how either move really upgrades their team. Cassel isn't going to give them the same production as Orton did last year and they currently have a dogshit OL in front of McCoy with little money to spend and no 1st round pick. I don't disagree. It just looks like Rex is using his same playbook from the Jets. He wants a QB that won't fuck up, a RB who can consume clock, while he uses his defense to try to win a 9-6 game. I'm just wondering what role Roman is playing in all of this? Similar to the speculation that runs around Chan Gailey, the possibility of brining in his old RB in Spiller, etc. are there any dots that can be connected between Roman, McCoy, Cassel in terms of the offense they're planning to run....or does this all smack of Rex-minded offense??? yep and with geno at qb the jets will be on the losing side of those 9-6 games.

Again I totally disagree with you. Cassel had all the weapons he needed playing in NE when he put up his best season by far...and that was 7 years. Fast forward to when he came to the Vikes, and it was musical chairs between him and ponder as the QB, he could even hold the starting job. If the bills expect Cassel to be their starter this year then Wrecks is sniffing that shinola and the Bills will fail miserably.

When is "Hard Knocks" coming to Buffalo, I need to see Rex in action, his undisciplined players eating McDonalds on the field...Bye Bye ya formerly fat turd... That would be the undisciplined, burger eating team that won 12 games you're goofing on.

Says who? Rex trotted Sanchez out there to fuck up well beyond his limits of fucking up. This is basically according to a "Rex theory of team success." Except he's done nothing to actualize this theoretical vision of a team that can sustain long-term success. Rex is doubling down on all of the issues that got him fired from the Jets. Rex is going to win his way, no matter what. His chances of "learning" anything, ever, are zero. He's Buddy's spawn through and through. they don't have a good qb, so they're going to re-create the 2009 jets offense, in the hopes they can eke out a wild card birth. that's all you can realistically hope for in the afc east unless you have a good qb. in a way, rex belongs in buffalo. his ground and pound works best in cold weather, not somewhere like atlanta, where his defense is destined to be torched in domes half the time. the irony would be if the jets got mariotta, and became the ball protecting, balanced team everyone always wanted under rex. We can see this. the trolls from MA however are stumped

Shady trade.
Cassel trade
Incognito pickup.
Congrats to Rex and the Bills, offseason champs before free agency even starts.
