So much for that:
Edit -- fake twitter account -- this did not come from Rapaport.

I'm not interested in Bowe, a receiver never caught a TD pass for the chiefs last year.
Marshall is a good player but he will be done in a few years the it's back to square one.
If we end up with Foles or Mariota, we need to put a group around them that's here for the long haul.

Wow, that escalated quickly. Lol May have been from a fake twitter account -- not sure if it is really from Rapoport.

Strange, I think he retracted that. I don't see it in his tweets anymore.

Marshall was bitching about Cutler being his QB and they're like best friends. You think he won't cause problems over here with Geno at QB?
Plus he's 31 and was hurt most of the season last year. I think there's a reason the Bears are trying to move him other than cap considerations.

I'd much rather have Marshall than Harvin. Marshall has always been my favorite WR. Except I'd ask him not to do TV shows during the season

Would you guys do a fifth round for Marshall??
Here's a thought, with so many teams having so much cap Room someone is going to get the short end of the stick in the wideout department.Harvins contract might actually look good in another week or two maybe we could trade him for a six round pick and recoup that.

I would give the 4th to the Bears for Marshall that we would have had to give Seattle if we kept Harvin. Then release Harvin and give up the 6th. #6 in the draft is a perfect position to drop back a few picks and pick up some extra picks to recoup better then what we gave up. Marshall would want to come here and the Bears would probably try to accomodate him to keep him out of the NFC. Marshall worked for "Inside the NFL" last season and he was flying on off days to NY to tape the show. I'm sure he'd rather be in town already to lessen the travel. Makes sense for the Jets too. Immediately gives us the best WR tandem in a long time. Two big WR's with strong hands, perfect for any QB. Plus his contract is not bad between $7-$8 million each year for the next 3 years. No guaranteed money so if he sucks they can release him next year with no cap issues. Also saves a couple of million dollars from the Harvin contract and he's a real threat on the outside, not a slot WR like Harvin.

Marshall was in Miami when Bowles was there as well.So there's that connection. I like the thought of him and Decker 2 big receivers, but to complement them would have to get a true speed guy 2 stretch field.
