so the jets won't have 4th or 5th round picks. light draft, probably offset by more FA signings. Wrong. We keep our 4th. Don't have 5th or 6th. The major offset would be a trade back at this point. Those picks aren't as valuable as our 4th though.

Heard the pick is a 5th. That's a steal.

Marshall caught 4 passes that went 20+ yards in the air last season. Decker caught 3.
Marshall used to be able to make plays down the field with his size. But that still requires a degree of pace which he no longer possesses, and he's only going to get slower. Decker could get behind a defense that was preoccupied with shutting down other receiving options. If he's the primary deep threat, he's not going to get the job done.
If we got Marshall for a 5th, I'm happy with that, provided we acquire some speed at receiver at some point in the offseason (plenty of time left to do so).

i dont understand why cut percy , just resructure the contract,4th rounder has a higher chance of not even making the team than producing like percy. this offense would be sick if geno gives us a DECENT season, percy, decker, marshall, kerley, amaro, rebuilt oline, ivory and co. Because he has openly said he will not restructure. There could be hope of that now that he knows he could be cut. The Jets can now say bye-bye much easier, so he very well might look at restructuring rather than face going into a DEEP WR pool and not come close to making the money he could had he been willing to stay with the Jets.

if they want dorsett they're gonna have to take him in the 2nd, he's not lasting to early 3rd. add him and the offense is retooled. olb in the first.

Not really... trade that bust to the Eagles for all of their picks for the next 4 years.

This signing has actually made me want to keep Harvin now, you're not getting better talent day 1 starters in the 4th and 5th.
Sure that o-line up and you have exactly what a young QB needs to develop whether it be Geno or Mariota.
We can eat his contract and cut him after next year and save the cap then, let's give it a go in 15 with this trio.

There are some good speed options in this draft that won't cost a first or second round pick.

With Geno? Or it's a nice situation for Mariota to walk into no? Im still not sunk on Geno but how bout we trade our pick to Philly for their pick, Foles, a 3rd and a pick next year.

That's an awful trade in my opinion. They're talking about how Philly would have to give up a 1st, 2nd in 2015, 1st, 2nd in 2016 and a 1st in 2017 plus Foles to move up to 6.

No damn way I take that little to move down 14 spots. Especially when everyone and their mother knows how much Chip covets Mariota.
