Good Management vs Trust Fund baby. Give me a break, Woody isn't that bad. He's a successful, self-made businessman on his own. Really??? Please tell me how he is self made? He is the grandson of a founder of Johnson and Johnson. I am open here..name one success he has had.

Not this has anything to do with football, but yes very true, he inherited a company and was pretty much given this franchise as a hobby so that he had something to do. If I'm not mistaken, the rest of his family went to ivy league schools and I think Woody went to Arizona or something.

I wouldn't mind bringing him back at a reasonable price in a deal where he can't yank us around to try to get re-signed like he did last time he was here.

He has nothing to do with the running of Johnson & Johnson. He's not even in line to inherit it. In fact, he's never worked a day in his life. He's the ultimate trust fund baby from the Johnson & Johnson family. Not self made in the least.

When you work in the private sector and MUST produce a product or service that customers can walk away from, it keeps you sharp or you fail. Woody has never done that. he meddles like a child. Spending money and running it like a business are 2 different things. Woody has , IMO, shown very little business acument that a Kraft shows or even the Packers who are absolutely run like a private business. A board of directors, GM etc....

Yesterday I wasn't so sure, today I want the Jets to sign him... You must be fun to shop for around birthday time! I look forward to finding out how you feel tomorrow.

He had a head start being born with a silver spoon, good early private schooling, etc. Dad got cut off, as did Woody, by gramps. Woody did have success in the cable business, made more money. Gotta be fair there. I dont consider him self-made however, like Mark Cuban, who had a pretty average start and parlayed his taking chances into big bucks. THAT'S self made. Most team owners arent self made, lets be honest.

I've made it clear I won't see him the same if he comes back. However I accept it's a major coup and the highest upgrade at a need position if we get him. He has a choice, go into the HOF as a Jet or Pat, what's it goin to be Darelle? NFL players don't go into the Hall wearing any cap, but you can be damn sure that no matter what Revis does from here on out, he's going to be loved by Pats fans.

They are worth a TON more now than when he bought them, but I won the Vanguard S and P 500. If owned since 2000, it has more than doubled in 10 years. maybe I can own the JETS?

Woody gets accused of meddling so much by Jet fans. I would argue that Woody is a top 10 owner in the NFL, without a doubt.

Make an NFL franchise based in the New York market more profitable? Whoop-de-frickin-do. I could fucking do that. And they wouldn't be playing in a fucking air conditioner if it were up to me. Kraft had family money but he turned a whole bunch of nothing into something and financed the Pats property with his own damn money. According to Forbes he tripled his wealth this year.
