you didn't think that was funny in the slightest? All you have done nonstop is claim some circus bullshit and talk about Macagnan not doing anything. Stop trying to backpedal. In all seriousness, I don't know enough about this Skrine dude to form an opinion. Maybe you know better than I do. Is he any good? How does he rate relatively to other CB's in the league?

But does he do the stupid celebration afterwards?? I like the Skrine signing a lot. Solid, low cost guy. Day 1 starter in our secondary Not sure I would call 4 year / $25 mil ($13 guaranteed) a low cost deal. He is and upgrade from Wilson, though -- and he had better be solid at that price.

Yo Hitman, not sure where things went wrong with us. I would like to make a truce to forgive all past transgressions. Much love?

Didn't know it was that much, but $6.25M/yr. for a guy that can play slot and outside as a number 2 sounds like a god deal to me.

Some Browns fans thoughts on reddit: He's smaller with great speed, ideally suited for the nickel role but played outside extensively with us. Impressive development over the past 2 seasons. However, he's good for at least 3-4 major penalties in crucial times of the game, each year. yeah he was. He is getting better every year but when he gets beat he will start holding and get PI calls. I am going to miss him though. ...fuck FUCK FUCK FUCK This makes me sad. I sure hope Gilbert steps up this season. Skrine is a baller but has some blaring issues, he gives up the big play too easily. Either way i think his positives outweigh his negatives.. So largely positive

Yeah I saw that. Simms thinks he is a 1 but he is smoking the Shinola. If we get an effective slot guy that can be a ball hawk then I will be more than happy with that.

Pro Football Focus ranks Skrine as 82 out of 108 qualifying corners. Skrine has improved statistically every year. Also, he is not Kyle Burnt Toast Wilson.
The third fact is my favorite.

The guy played opposite of Haden on the Browns decent pick up depth wise his only problem is he gets a lot of penalties. He is only 25 so Bowles can fix that I see him more like a nickle CB I think they signed him as insurance if Miliner goes down and will start opposite of Milliner if the Jets don't land Revis or another elite CB. The Jets had to do something since FA market is drying up.

110 tackles, 36 pass deflections, 5 int's last 2 years combined at RCB.
Height: 5-9 Weight: 182 lbs. Born: April 26, 1989 in Marietta, GA (Age 25) Pre-draft measurables 40-yd dash: 4.37 s 10-yd split: 1.56 s 20-yd split: 2.50 s Vert: 37 in Broad: 10 ft 2 in BP: 20 reps
Not sure how to look at the being opposite of Haden, (being good or bad) .Haden would take better WR but wouldn't this guy get picked on more. Best case young #2 CB (who can improve) worst case good nickel.

Skrine is a great free agency signing.
They are paying for a guy that has gotten better every year, but still has his best football ahead of him. This is a scout's free agent acquisition. We're not paying this guy for what he's done, we're paying him for what we think he'll become.
This is how you are supposed to win in free agency. We're not chasing stats, that's a good thing.
