QB needy teams? One, TB is taking the best QB. Tenn just may like the kid who played well for them before getting hurt last year. Nevermind that until the draft actually happens and players are drafted or not, you have no clue who will or won't pass on him. Fuck, for all you know at this point, he could go first So so no real logic or fact at work here, just a way of knocking Mariota. i have no idea who you're arguing with, but it's not me. If, come draft day, Mariota is passed on by TB, TEN, WSH - then there's a reason. It's not because they're packing gold in their pants. It's because Mr Marcus has been deemed a project. So why the fuck would I want him? Build the team's roster around the position so you can place the next guy in a successful situation. You remember Sanchez? He didn't accidentally get us to 2 AFCCGs, the roster was stacked. A blind squirrel could have found that nut. What exactly did that get us? It just insulated us from the fact that Sanchez was pretty fucking bad for a while until it was unwrapped for us like a pile shit concealed by wrapping paper. Your logic for Mariota is quite cyclical and really is foolish. If teams pass on DGB until the 4th rounds, does that mean we shouldn't draft him because heck some other team would have drafted him if he was worth the 2nd-3rd value that the team placed on him. I am not going to judge the Jets if they pick Mariota, because I imagine they have done a great job scouting him and fuck the the Tennessee's and Washington's of the world. What exactly have any of those QB needy teams done of merit for me to trust their judgement on a QB anymore than our new regime.

This is amazing. A national news outlet tweets that Josh Freeman visited the Jets. (I think it was PFT or Bleacher.) Then our two resident dickbag beat reporters (Mehta "confirmed" the visit after as well) jump on the story they didn't break to tell us that it occurred a week or so ago. Way to do your job assholes! Thanks for the clarification of someone else's story on the team you cover exclusively that you somehow missed for over a week. Rant over: stay away Freeman.

Seems to me they were trying to stir their usual shit and someone may have got in touch and asked Cimini WTF he's trying to do... So he "clarifies" oh i dunno, just a minor little detail they happened to forget... well woudja look at that!!

Blind love and the mentality of "just take him"... I think he's a couple years away from being ready and this not the right town for that song and dance... but I trust the Mac

That makes you an idiot if they're idiots. It makes you a bigger idiot. Or maybe it could be that Tenn likes their QB, a point you missed. And why the fuck would Wash need a QB? Point is our people evaluate players and should pick accordingly, not off what Wisenhunt or some other head of a losing team picks. Question how did your logic work for GB when they took Rodgers? Or SF when they picked Montana? The list is long when it comes to players passed up who became stars. You pick who you like and go with it.
