He is now the best DT available in FA. Do we get a comp pick if we don't resign him?
Brian Costello reports that the Giants are hosting Jets free agent DT Kenrick Ellis for a visit on Tuesday.

I don't think we would get a comp pick because of all of the FA's that we signed. Pretty sure comp picks are only awarded to teams that lose more than they sign.

Would love to have him back. Good insurance if Snacks were to be out for any length of time.

Wish we could have kept him, but I'm fine with it if he gets a chance to start. Dude deserves it.

He has been battling back issues so I can understand us keeping Harrison over him. We also have TJ Barnes on the roster too

Sucks b.c he really flashed at times but with our DL depth and his injuries he never really got a chance to develop here.
Hope he does well. He should start for them.

Initially surprised that we were not going to bring back Ellis if all he got was a one-year deal from the Giants, but this may make sense.

Damn that sucks. Ellis is going to destroy this team in the Snoopy Bowl as revenge.

Barnes playing, a shame he got injured so quickly. I still think he can contribute. As far as Kenrick going, I think the giants got a nice deal on a nice player. It was fun watching him develop.
