Technically he has declined. From GOAT level to All-Pro level.

He will be better for us than he was for NE. Why? Because we hate you?

Sherman is the best corner in the game, with Revis an extremely close second. I look at it as a 1A, 1B relationship. After those guys, there is a solid dropoff to #2 and #3. you mean sherman of the losing seahawks? you mean sherman whose defense gave up 20 unanswered points in the biggest game of the year? thanks but no thanks. sherman wishes he can be as good as the revis 3 years from now. true revis wasn't the reason why the patsies won but sherman was a reason why the seahawks lost. and revis also figured into the patsie run after those early games.

I thought maybe it was going to be the water in NY. Like bagels.

Revis was better last year than he was the year before. PFF's grades don't have anyway of accounting for the varying degrees of responsibility that a corner can have. He's certainly declined from where he was in 2009. But any decline in his metrics from 2013 to 2014 would be a function of the fact that the role he played in NE last year was a lot closer to what Rex used to have him do here. That's far more demanding than what he did for Tampa.
