Agreed, I thought the same thing so that's a bit odd. They probably wanna show off our facility.

I coached Andrus' little brothers in flag football this past Fall. He comes from a football family. The middle brother, Cassius, is graduating from high school in Chandler, AZ and going to Michigan State next year. He's a stud linebacker that we'll probably be talking about for the 2018 Draft. Their father played for the Raiders. All are good, respectful kids as far as I can tell. Shelving my bias for a second I will say that I don't think Andrus is worth a Top 10 or 15 pick in this draft. He's absolutely a 1st rounder but unless we trade back we probably shouldn't be taking him. I do think he'll benefit from a Draft that looks to be a little thin at the top in terms of offensive lineman and OTs. Brandon Scherff will probably go a little earlier than he should for a similar reason. JMO.

I wouldn't mind taking a stud LT either... I don't know anything about the guys that are coming out this year outside of the handful of kids that I really want to see play for the Jets (Cooper and Gurley I've watched play ALOT because SEC baby!!!) and then the guys that I don't want to ever seen anywhere near the Jets (Winston and any body remotely related to the defensive side of the football).
The Jets have SUCKED at the skill positions for about 2 decades now. They haven't drafted anyone that would be considered at the top of the league at WR or RB. For me it's time they go that route. I wouldn't mind them trading back and getting another pick and drafting Gurley a little later.
But my heart is set on Cooper. I'd be happy with Mariota. Unfortunately I see both being gone by #6. We just had to win all those meaningful games this year.

we have a whole lotta holes floating around - we're not so bad at wr now. Go with OT or LB and then sign Justin Hardy in either the 2nd or 3rd rounds.

I'd address LB in the 2nd-3rd round. I don't see where we have the roster space for an impact player at OLB when we got David Harris on a new contract and Davis... They'd be competing with Pace and Babin and possibly Coples for starting time let alone whatever scrubs we got behind those three. I can't see us going defense early.
If it's me and the players are available I'd go Cooper at 6 and if the value was there for a OT/OG I'd do that in the 2nd round. They've been addressing the offensive line in free agency though so I don't know what position they'd be looking at in the 2nd. You can probably get a good LB at the spot I'd say.

Cooper will be good but if we miss out, not a big loss. Davante Parker - that is the WR prospect to look out for in this draft. I watched him in the FSU-Louisville game this past year and he just absolutely shredded a really good FSU secondary..

Rumour going around that the 49ers are interested in trading up to draft Cooper. Could be a golden opportunity for Maccagnan to trade down and grab extra picks if mariota and Cooper are both available when the jets pick.

For what? Today I saw a guy walking down the street wearing an Beckham Jr jersey (that's how warm it was today). And it made me sad.
