I'd much rather draft a RB fairly early and eventually give him the keys. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it, as I'm sure Ridley wouldn't cost much. But, he's never really impressed me and is notorious for putting the ball on the ground.

Ridley is a big fumbler. Let the Lolphins have him.

Once a fumbler always a fumbler, just like once a cheater, always a cheater. He has the stink of the Patsies on him. Let him walk, get a young back in the draft.

Having said that I'd be very happy for the Dolphins to get stuck with him. His injuries concern me even more than the fumblin g

Again I am not sure where the fumbling issues are coming from. He had one year where he fumbled 4 times and belllicheck made a big deal out of it by sitting him down, yet he was by far their best option at RB. Demarco Murray also fumbled the ball a lot last year but if belllicheck was his coach he wouldn't of had the year he had....not even close.
The injury I agree could be a problem but on a one year provide it type deal, why not?
That also won't deter us from getting a back in the draft.
Remember Ivory is always hurt, Powell is mediocre at best, Richardson is a decent scat back ...and that's all you got.

Ironic that you question where the Ridley fumbling meme originates, yet perpetuate the one about Ivory.

He's proven to be durable for the Jets. His injuries are well in the past.

The guy has had hamstring issues for the better part of his career. He is a good player when healthy but because of the nicks and the fact that he is a subpar receiver, he really is a committee guy at best.

The point I was trying to make here is that Ridley would be a good add as depth and if healthy he has potential to be better than anyone on our roster right now. Its great that you highlight one part of my response but if you read the rest of it I do mention that injuries a problem with Ridley.

Maybe it's the same people who didn't want Ivory and told me he was a fumbling machine? howd that turn out?
