I think there's a lot of truth to what Rex says. He probably understood better than anybody that it was awkward for him to stick around after Tannenbaum was cut out. He spent two years under Idzik who either was brought in to tank the team and flush everything out to start over in 2015 or was supposed to clean things up for 2015 but did such a shit job with the drafts that he had to go too. Whether you think Rex sucked or sucked because he had so little to work with, it's undeniable that he got put in a rough spot that nobody would want to be in. I understand his beef with free agency. That was a complete shit show by Idizk, but I have a hard time believing Idzik wouldn't have taken Bryant over Saunders and Evans if Rex wanted him. He allowed Rex to waste a pick of Boyd, and we drafted an inside the box safety at 18. Those moves scream Rex as did drafting Richardson. Why wouldn't we take Bryant with one of the picks if Rex wanted him? Especially when we drafted two WRs right before him. Because despite the Jets having a 26-38 record over the last 4 years, the HC is absolved of pretty much all blame for some reason. It was Sanchez and Geno. It was Tanny and Idzik. It was the fucking waterboy serving up watered down gatorade. Not Rex, though. That guys just too damn likable and down to earth to blame.

I just don't understand the excitement for the Bills. They have a weak offensive line with question marks everywhere except center and have a worse QB situation then we do. What's to be excited about? Rex will employ his top 5 defense and his famous 3 and out offense. It has 8-8 written all over it. Rex and Greg Roman instead of Schotty...hmmmmmmmm. Thomas Jones might never have been traded. Stupid sexy Sports Illustrated.

Rex...just stop talking about the Jets and concentrate on your new team. Time to move on. God knows, we all have.

Can we at least take a one week break from talking about Rex? Seems like most people are more interested in talking about a guy who isn't even here anymore over our new HC and GM. Hell, even bringing back Revis and Cro has seemingly taken a back seat to the Rex talk. Watch yourself, I said the something similar weeks ago and got ragged out

"Amaro is full of shit"
"They want to beat the shit out of us"
Fuckin bring it you egotistical turkey neck prick. I never thought I would grow to hate Rex this way.
Obnoxious full of shit blow hard fuck, I hope Amaro gives him the Jacobs treatment.
Here's your problem Rex, Amaro gets to go out and back up his talk, as usual it's someone else that has to go out and back your hard talk up.
Sick of the sight and sound of this man.

Here's what I take issue with when this dickhead talks.....
"He's full of s---, and I'll remind him of that when we play him," Ryan told The MMQB. "Look, we weren't perfect, and I never said we were going to be perfect. But that's a f---ing B.S. comment. But, hey, he's happy that he's got a different coach in place. We'll see how happy he is when I play against him."
"YOU" don't play anyone, you get someone else to do it for you.

He couldn't just walk away and keep his mouth shut, oh no! I wish we had a thousand Todd Bowles threads a week, but he's not a quote machine like the Ryan family, they get all the air time.

I don't think we ever will which is fine by me - Bowles let's his work speak for itself on the field. No false sense of bravado there.

I don't give a rats ass about Rex but when he starts talking shit about the jets organization that gave him a job when nobody would touch him ... And calling out players on the team . I have a problem with it .. Can't wait for him to fail once again not to defend rex too much but the organization that hired him wasn't the same one that fired him. from the interview it's plenty obvious idzik didn't buy into rex's enthusiasm. did idzik have any? he seemed like a pretty cold fish. as for the amaro comments, many people ripped mcelroy a few seasons back for speaking like amaro. it was wrong for amaro to say what he did on the same basis. and it's not clear if he was directing his comments to the locker room or to rex. and let's look on the bright side. mccagnon and bowles seem to be pretty good guys and they've done a lot to get the players the team was lacking. rex is going to be okay in buffalo too. he won't have to win the super bowl a few 10-6 seasons will set him for life. it was a win -win situation all around.

I think Rex 2.0 will do well in Buffalo until having no qb catches up with him again. More like Rex 6.0 He was selling a different, better, improved version of himself every year here. Gotta give him credit though. Nobody has ever gotten more mileage out of a few playoff wins than Rex. And please STFU Amaro. We all have high hopes for you but you have accomplished nothing. Stop helping Rex sell tickets.
