Can we at least take a one week break from talking about Rex?
Seems like most people are more interested in talking about a guy who isn't even here anymore over our new HC and GM.
Hell, even bringing back Revis and Cro has seemingly taken a back seat to the Rex talk.

I don't give a rats ass about Rex but when he starts talking shit about the jets organization that gave him a job when nobody would touch him ... And calling out players on the team . I have a problem with it .. Can't wait for him to fail once again

Also basically admits to quitting on the season before it even started .. Buying a house in Nashville , remember reading woody was upset because Rex just sat there and didn't open his mouth or give and input on players being signed or drafted

For Rex's sake he better hope he doesn't pig out too much on beer and buffalo wings up there. Otherwise CBS might not want his fat ass as an analyst when he's fired again.

Jesus Christ, buncha whining in here. Listen, Rex was a fun time and got us far twice but couldn't deliver on his promise. All that being said, save for our QB situation, I truly feel we're in a much better place now and have a genuine shot at a championship shot within the next few years if things go well.

I just don't understand the excitement for the Bills. They have a weak offensive line with question marks everywhere except center and have a worse QB situation then we do. What's to be excited about?
Rex will employ his top 5 defense and his famous 3 and out offense. It has 8-8 written all over it.

I think there's a lot of truth to what Rex says. He probably understood better than anybody that it was awkward for him to stick around after Tannenbaum was cut out. He spent two years under Idzik who either was brought in to tank the team and flush everything out to start over in 2015 or was supposed to clean things up for 2015 but did such a shit job with the drafts that he had to go too. Whether you think Rex sucked or sucked because he had so little to work with, it's undeniable that he got put in a rough spot that nobody would want to be in.
I don't think the attention to Rex this offseason is particularly unusual. What the Bills do this year means something to us. The franchise has clearly coalesced around Rex and he is steering that ship. If it looks like the 2012 Jets up there then everybody who sent up vitriol about Rex sucking ass the past few years will feel vindicated and we can all agree that parting ways was the right decision. If he does well then that puts egg on those same people's faces and once again we look like a bunch of dolts for depleting resources for and letting go of a successful coach.

That was a complete shit show by Idizk, but I have a hard time believing Idzik wouldn't have taken Bryant over Saunders and Evans if Rex wanted him. He allowed Rex to waste a pick of Boyd, and we drafted an inside the box safety at 18. Those moves scream Rex as did drafting Richardson. Why wouldn't we take Bryant with one of the picks if Rex wanted him? Especially when we drafted two WRs right before him.

I think Rex 2.0 will do well in Buffalo until having no qb catches up with him again.
