I'm calling NYJ @ DAL on Thanksgiving. I hope to hell not!! Last game on turkey day in Dallas was almost as bad as butt fumble. Don't be a SOJ fan...new season, new team, new HC, baby!

ESPN just said its going to be Bears at Packers Thanksgiving night. Confirmed, well done. I would prefer not to play on Thanksgiving at all. That way, I can enjoy the feast, family and football all day. Then on Sunday, I can watch the Jets game in peace at home or at the stadium. But as long as the game isn't @ home on Thanksgiving, I'm ok. Thanksgiving is a big event with my wife's family. When they had the first game, it was my birthday and I went to my sister-in-law's house and enjoyed the feast and took the train to the stadium. But I enjoyed it once and that was enough for me. Not saying I wouldn't do it again but I would hope not for a long time.

Hard not to see this happening, kinda like the idea of opening in Dallas though. It's a perfect fit for the NFL. It's hard to hype any game in buffalo because... well... it's buffalo. But with Rex going there and it being a division rivalry, it's a no brainer. Then they will wait until later in the year to have them play again at MetLife and it will have all of the hype of Rex returning.

I'd rather have the Bills in our house week 1, but that's because I've no confidence in us on the road of late. Obviously I hope that changes under coach Bowles.

My guess -- Bills at Jets in the early game of the MNF week 1 double header.
