Fuck that man take gurley ,less chance to bust than a qb. He has that beast mode persona like lynch , I want him here for with the jets, limit his carries if we are worried about health , like how the yanks does with tanaka.

But personally, I'd probably say fuck it and take Gurley in that scenario. I can't argue with that (and I really want Gurley to go to a team where I can root for him), but I don't see it as a realistic option. If we were really thinking Gurley as an option in the first, I can't believe we would not have brought him in for a visit so our docs could take a look at the knee. He went thru a medical re-check with NFL doctors recently and passed with flying colors. Ali teams have that info on him already, no teams brought him in privately to do a medical check of his knee.

Trade down, get Gurley. Take DGB with second pick. Dominate on offense. Boom.

i thought it was interesting towards the end, when someone asked him a 2 part question. the first part was whether he thought they did enough research on mariotta, and the second part was about how many players were scouted. mccagnan answered the 2nd part, ignored the first, then the reporter reminded him about the first question. mccagnan's body language changed, and he looked as if he had been exposed. may have been nothing, but i thought his entire demeanor changed there.

I didn't watch or listen, but from what others are saying perhaps he took it as an insult that he, who prides himself on his scouting acumen, would not have done all possible homework on a player, let alone a top player.

it almost sounds like he's not wanting an edge rusher in the first round either. if they need to wait for a guy to work it's not like you really need to use a first rounder. but in less than a week we'll see.
