Didn't realize we had a "host of roster needs." So glad PFT pointed that out for me. Where do they get this stuff? Mac positioned us to take BPA @ 6 with his moves in free agency. +1 They are such idiots. They just regurgitate six month old conventional wisdom. Still don't know what we're gonna do at Corner!!!

No I don't like that idea. I want Cooper at 6. Not letting those loose assholes take him.

Ray is going to free fall now... Missouri edge rusher Shane Ray was cited for possession of marijuana Monday morning, according to Brandon Kiley. Ray was in possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana. Draft week citations and arrests are always relevant on some level. No one will ever top Tharold Simon's arrest the day before he was drafted. During the 2015 draft process, Ray has been held out of the Combine due to medicals, displayed poor athleticism during testing and now has been cited for marijuana. He couldn't sniff Fanecas jock. Faneca was much more athletic than Scherff ever will be. I would hate that pick probably more than other player that has been mocked to us. ESSENTIALLY, he's Alan Faneca. As in a perrenial pro-bowler at his position and a strong presence in the locker room. A cornerstone of the OL for the next decade. An heir to Brick and Mangold. Forget Faneca, if I told you that you were getting Logan Mankins for the next 10-12 years, you wouldn't take it? I'm not advocating taking Scherff over someone like Mariota, Cooper or Fowler. But if those guys are all off the board at #6...then yeah, I think if you can make a case for a kid like Dupree who, let's be honest, should really go in the 12-18 range...then I think you can make an argument for Scherff. seems like scherff or any oline would be a decent pick if they could trade down a couple of spots and still grab him. at 6 they really need to get an impact player.

Jason Mizrachi @jasonmizrachi Apr 25 Phillip Dorsett. ESPN’s Mel Kiper says he’s 1 of the top 20 players in the draft & has risen to first-round status. Compares to T.Y. Hilton
Omar Kelly @omarkelly Apr 11 On Path to the Draft Charlie Casserly said he'd rank Phillip Dorsett ahead of Brandin Cook, who was a 1st rd pick for the Saints last yr.
DawgPoundNate @dawgpound_Nate Apr 23 Kiper and McShay have Phillip Dorsett and Perriman going before Vic Beasley...
Scott Bischoff @bischoff_Scott From reliable source: Do not be surprised if the Philadelphia Eagles take Miami WR Phillip Dorsett with their pick at No. 20 in Round 1.

OK so there are all these last minuter risers, who's dropping to make room for them? Everybody can't go in the first round

Damn, I was hoping Dorsett would be there for our 2nd pick just in case we don't end up with Cooper.

That's probably the next best scenario, honestly. Hope that either Mariota or Cooper fall to #6...or trade back into the 10-12 range with someone high on a kid like White, pick up an extra 2nd and maybe a 4th and take a guy like Girlie, Parker or Scherff. IF we get back to 12, I really hope we get Gurley but I don't think he will be there. Atl will fuck everything up. I think ATL trades up for Fowler in my opinion. My wish would be they'd trade up with the Raiders, but it might be with Jags. Who knows.
