Here's an article about how even though the pressing need is for OLB the Jets could go offense for the first time in Round 1 since 2009 when they picked 5th. I didn't pay any attention at all to things like drafts back then so realizing now that the Jets were able to get a QB by moving up to pick 5 seems amazing now, considering how they're only one place below that this year and it's out of the question that they could sniff one of the QB's at 6. I don't know what happened in that draft other than Stafford going first, then what happened with 2-4. Did none of those teams need a QB? I guess Sanchez was considered a lot worse of a prospect than Mariota is today since it's a certainty he'll go with the second pick? nypost.com/2015/04/27/playmaker-needy-jets-could-buck-recent-draft-strategy/
