Could very well be a certain edge rusher. Batten down the hatches if that happens People won't have a problem with it. As long as it's not Rex making defensive picks, it's all good Yup. I also think there's a 50/50 chance we go Defense again in Round 2. Get ready for heads to explode, worlds to collide and the banishments to the Thunderdome to begin! Hard not to take an Eli Harold or Randy Gregory at #37 overall.

I can't emphasize enough how well free agency was handled by the new regime
We literally drafted a position that we didn't need to fill, and I'm not worried one bit....as a matter of fact, IMO we will continue to draft BAP regardless of position. To be honest, we are set at every position IMO
Everyone clamoring for a WR, well Shaq, Quincy, Powell, Hakim, and Owusu are solid and now have a chance to shine
OLB....Granted we're getting up there in age, but you can't say we're not set there either with Coples, Mo, Babin, and Reilly
OLine...Aren't we grooming Aboushi, Winters, Johnson, Dozier
CB...Milliner has time to heal, Williams was a find last year, and hopefully McDougle is a player
RB...Ivory, Powell, Ridley and Bohanon
TE...Cumby, Amaro, Davis, Pantale and I really like Sudfeld going forward
Bottom line, whomever we take we'll be adding depth to positions that are already solid

I agree with some here, that the jets trade back in the 2nd unless there's a RT they like. they need a tackle, they tried to land one in FA and now's there last real chance this year. I think rb in 3rd, wr was addressed sufficiently in FA though I could be wrong. can't address every need ideally.

I'd say it's at least 75/25 (in favor of defense) based on Paradis's observations of who is left and who they met with. And who they need. I think for a new regime meetings with prospects are a good indication of who they're interested in. Everyone is saying they don't mind defense because they expect us to go offense next but the value is stacking up to be better for defense.

It's not happening. The only way they take a risk on guy with such character problems is maybe 6th or 7th and some other less risk averse team will have taken him long before that He is worth the risk. Hoping Maccaggan has the balls to do it. If not, get the banners and billboards ready. He took the absolute safest pick/move yesterday. There is no way as a brand new GM he is going out on a limb. No way. Accept this now to prepare yourself for the inevitable disaapointment
