Fisher Clemmings Coleman Strong DGB Smith
I know -- I gave you 6 - but I will be happy any of these guys. Time to start to build the offense, even with guys like Gregory and Harold still available.

if they don't love DGB or don't trust him i'd prefer to get a RT, they're going to need a new one next year anyway. they can get a quality rb in the 3rd or 4th round.

I see everyone is high on DGB...but DGB would come with enormous baggage, no? Kid was embroiled in some stuff that would have imprisoned a non-college athlete and supposedly was not too coachable.
This would be an enormous challenge for a first time head coach, especially in the NY market. though I would have to think Bowles would have to pretty confident he can corral this kid before green-lighting this move.

As long as we get an OL, WR, and and OLB/PR, I think we're good.

If they pass on DGB that means the background stuff they came up with wasn't good so we shouldn't be pissed if they pass on him. As much as I love Harold, I'm not sure if that wouldn't be overkill at this point. I don't want Gregory. Has less to do with the pot than it does with him possibly being Maybin 2.0
I'd say OT (Fisher or Collins if things check out) or RB.

I say DGB or La'el Collins, you couldn't beat DGB, and Collins would be a killer pick.

I don't think their is a very big drop off from the top of round 2 to the bottom. I'd trade down, if possible. If not, there are only 4 on the board I would want at r2/p5:
Randy Gregory - OLB - can't play the run well ... Fortunately, the Jets don't need him to Eric Kendricks - ILB - heir to David Harris TJ Clemmings - OT - gotta pick a lineman somewhere and he can start from Day 1. Jay Ajayi - RB - could become an every down back. Can run, catch, and picks up blitzes.
The fifth is Strong, but while I agree with picking LW even though we are deep at his position, he was rated by many as the best player in the whole draft. Strong is not even the 2 best WR. So, I'm not crazy about going with a WR in round 2.
If all 4 are gone, the options are not good. Mostly players with criminal problems or who do not fit the Jets scheme.

You know what? I thought about that as well...how about trading down somewhere in the middle of the second grab an extra 4th and draft Tyler Lockett. This kid has some serious skills, even though he is small in stature teams knew that he was the #1 option at K state. He could be a dynamo at the slot, similar to Randall Cobb. Like Cobb he can also play special teams. I would be thrilled with this move too.

Outside of Harold and Orchard, the jets haven't worked out virtually anyone in this bracket of talent. In fact, we haven't spend a whole lot of time with anyone on offense outside of the top tier guys... So who the eff knows what comes next. If it's Duke Johnson, i'll hurl myself off a bridge. DGB Strong Collins Hardy Harold And the pick needs to be DGB Jets worked out Gregory as well. Unfortunately, I think the Jets pick is going to be between Harold, Orchard and Gregory, so the offense will continue to be ignored. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

I'd also appreciate the value of Collins in the 2nd. If they pick him, I just pray the PIs did a good job.

Did we have DGB in as one of our 30 for a visit?

No meeting with DGB is listed on the Walter Football site: walterfootball.com/ProspectMeetings/ByTeamIf the list is accurate, I cannot see us picking him. Don't think he is the kind of guy you take without meeting him in person, given the questions around his character.
