Justin Hardy is unquestionably the best WR left on the board. Despite the presence of Smith or Lockett. Not only that, but he'll play week 1 in the slot and immediately become a target hog. He could catch 80 balls in his rookie year depending on QB play. Think Antonio Brown. That's Justin Hardy. It should be noted, that we haven't worked out or visited almost anyone in this bracket. OLBs Eli Harold and Nate Orchard are about it... Rnd 2 talent: DGB Strong Harold
Rnd 3: Hardy (if we're lucky) OrchardI just hope they don't outsmart themselves by taking a guy like Hunt or Petty with the 37th pick. FWIW; Walter has us taking Strong as of this morning. Thoughts? PS. We should all hate the fact that MIA landed Parker. No #1 WR in the league scares me when we have Revis opposite him. Dolphins were better off drafting an ILB with their pick. They have Suh, Vernon and Wake and that's about it on defense. LB's are not very good and secondary is suspect.

One of the next 2 picks has to be HB in my opinion. We can't go into next off-season with 0 RB's on the roster. That means we'll have to overpay for a mediocre back in FA and reach in the draft. I'd take Coleman, Yeldon or Duke.

Their offense isn't going to squat if Tannehill is on his back or running for his life

We don't need a runt WR like Hardy or Lockett. We need a WR who can develop and eventually take over for Marshall. Those two would be DGB or Strong imo.

I don't know Justin Hardy from Oliver Hardy (for you youngsters, look him up) but I can guarantee that he is not unquestionably the best WR left on the board. The GMs and scouts don't even agree on these players so there is nothing that unquestionable.

Is Hardy's skill-set better or different than Kerley's? Sounds like they're very similar. Would prefer someone with a little more speed and explosiveness if we're going WR. that's like comparing Calvin Johnson to James Hardy. Kerley is good but I don't think he is as good as Calvin Johnson.

Ok, ok.... (*disclaimer - been drinking monk beer all day getting ready for tonight)
I'm getting a lot of flack for the use of "unquestionably" and things of that nature. Let me quantify that statement but saying, there's no one else i've seen that has the complete game that Hardy shows on tape, nor has the heart that Hardy has. Read up a bit on him. He was a walk on at ECU who crushed records. I would take him over D. Smith in a heartbeat. Parts of Smith's game are either undeveloped or untested. Hardy's done everything.
I would comfortable put 50$ down that Hardy will out perform anyone taken in the 2nd round and beyond (not named DGB or Strong) in his rookie year. I won a 50$ bet with Beerfish that Gurley would be taken in round 1, so i like my luck this year.

If DGB doesn't get kicked off Missouri he's a top 15 pick. You just have to be comfortable that he's grown up and his problems are behind him. If you can get to that point the pick is a no-brainer. If the Jets pass on him I'm pretty certain it will be b/c they're not comfortable with the off the field issues.

As someone pointed out earlier, the fact that we didn't even bring him in for a visit seems to say we don't want him.
