Wow...great trade. Guy is a productive NFL player and he's just 24.
Tremendous value.

Is he any better than the RBs we already have? Don't like that he started crying as soon as STL drafted Gurley.

What exactly happened with him last season? He completely fell off. Still a load of potential and he's still young but the Rams obviously had no issue replacing him

Slightly OT but just looked up some of his YouTube clips and saw this comment: LOL.

I knew he was coming here once we missed out on all quality RBs again.

He is he who we think he is. Lack Stacy.
I too drafted Zac Stacy in my 10 man but not until the 4th round. Demarious, Dez, Bell, Stacy (later Mason)

Let's see him come in and compete. We have a whole lot of average to slightly above average RBs....but there's no Top 20 RB on this team. I'm not knocking Ivory but he is a low...1B type starting RB. Not that Zac Stacy solves that problem but with Ivory's injury history I like having him here. Also, Ivory's contract expires at the end of this season. I think we're in the RB market again early in next year's Draft.

Stacy averaged 3.9 ypc in 2013 and 3.9 ypc in 2014. The decline in yardage was due to a decline in touches. 3.9 is hardly impressive, but STL's O-line has been a terrible run blocking unit for the past few years.
Barnwell actually felt that them drafting Gurley was a waste for precisely that reason. Something along the lines of 'I don't know how many RBs they have to go through before they release that the problem is the line, not the backs.'

Something along the lines of 'I don't know how many RBs they have to go through before they release that the problem is the line, not the backs.' And they drafted two OL in the first three rounds. The Jets aren't what they were up front like they were in '08, but hard to judge Stacy against a line that needed that much help. Since they missed in the draft, nothing to dislike here for a 7th rounder.

What's so awful about 3.9 YPC? Do it three times and you've got a first down
