Just outside of Calgary. Did a sabbatical in Vancouver, but otherwise here for 20 years since we moved from Sarnia. I always figured you for a GTA guy. NAHHH! Just up the road from you. I was born in Woodstock, lived for years in Banff, and now live just outside of London. When I am out that way over the next couple of years, I will let you know. Maybe we'll watch a Jet game together! ya that'd be great. holler at me if you're out this way. Beerfish lives just an hour north as well. should drag that crusty bastard out too.

Keep hold of Shaq, he's like another draft pick this year, let's see what he can do. Plus he's called Shaq, and who doesn't like a guy called Shaq. I agree. I've been on the Shaq wagon since the day before we drafted him last year. He never really got a look last year because of his injuries. He plays faster than he timed and has hands. He can really surprise, especially learning from the likes of Marshall and Decker. Shaq & Devin might be our future 1 & 2 and we don't even know it. I'm looking forward to seeing how Shaq does in the pre-season. I think he's flying under the radar right now. The last 2 spots I'm hoping will be Shaq and Q Enunwa. Acquiring Posey might have been a waste.

Or, because they were never put on the regular roster at any point can they get a second year on the Practice Squad? That could be really beneficial for those guys.

If we can go into the season with 6 players from the 2014 draft on our roster, I wouldn't complain. Pryor Amaro McDougle Evans/Enunwa Dozier Reilly/IK That would be a 50% hit rate in year 2. Not great, but not awful. Granted, at most you're looking at only 3 potential starters (Pryor, Amaro, Dozier) with McDougle having a chance in 2016. This just illustrates how fvcking bad Izdick was at his job as GM. All of us knew there was no way the Jets could use all 12 draft picks last year. Notice how our new GM masterfully played the draft to the Jets benefit? Izdick could not even make a trade to move up to grab one of those talented wrs ( a strong need last year). Just incredible. Woody should seek damages from Izdick for his incompetence. wait a second. i am not defending idzik but 4 of those picks were in the 7th round and it's not like the jets had a bunch of really good players. all of those 7th round picks would've been worth moving up a couple of spots in the 3rd round or so. so let's not place too much value on trading drafts picks. i do see your point though and standing pat with the picks instead of trying to maneuver with them is something idzik could have done. but as for idzik's draft picks, in the first 2 rounds he brought in milliner, richardson, genot, amaro, and pryor. if he hits on all those players he's doing pretty well, imo. remember when the jets drafted ron faurot? how about mike haight? cadigan? vick? mitchell? and of late we can look at stephen hill or ducasse or clemens or robertson or using a high draft pick to get holmes. and if you look at other teams it's not like the bellichicken has such a great track record either. again i am not defending idzik just stating that getting real talent out of the draft is sometimes difficult and more like artwork than science. and then, of course, the success of the players drafted depends on how well the coaches are able to play to their strengths.

TBH who cares about the draft when you have no clue what to even do in Free Agency and basically do nothing instead of filling glaring holes.

Yeah the free agency and UDFA were like night and day from last year to this year.
