So now that Kraft and Goodell are no longer BFF's, which team is going to get all the favored treatment? It can't be the Packers because there's no one there to kiss up to

I'm getting my morning laugh watching the Brady defenders on the NFL network, saying the punishment was too harsh. It speaks to the integrity of the game, and even more important, the betting line.

What bothers me is that good honest fans are feeling actual pain.. My brother has been a Patriots fan since 1977 and has stuck with them through thick and thin.... You should have seen his face in '86 when they got pounded by Chicago. He is also a Cancer survivor and the nicest person you could meet. He feels betrayed. He feels like HE was violated when NE cheated. Brady and Kraft need to issue an apology to ALL NFL fans, especially good honest folks, although I do not share any love for the Pats.. Thanks a lot Tom for hurting good people, like my brother, who just took for Granted that you were playing honestly...and now feel used.. Your brother sounds like a great guy Bing but he and all the rest of the fans can dry their eyes with any one of four SB championship commemorative t-shirts.....

The Titles dont mean as much due to the cheating. Ive watched him be a perfect fan. Now its ruined. As a Jets fan im glad NE got caught and will pay, but as for someoine like my brother and others like him he should be apologized to...... but that will NEVER EVER happen

The Titles dont mean as much due to the cheating. Ive watched him be a perfect fan. Now its ruined. As a Jets fan im glad NE got caught and will pay, but as for someoine like my brother and others like him he should be apologized to...... but that will NEVER EVER happen The fact of the matter is that the world is running out of "gates" for the Patriots. Whether it's Spygate, Deflategate or whatever there's simply a pervasive pattern of deception and cheating that's embedded in the organization. Even seemingly nice, upstanding, charitable guys like the luminous Tom Brady can't resist being assimilated into a culture based on winning by any means necessary. He shrunk up like a frightened turtle when the NFL came looking for phone records of his communications with equipment managers and staff. If the NFL hadn't obtained their records then no one would have known that Brady, who rarely if ever communicated with those guys during the season, all of a sudden had 5 phone conversations and was sending text messages to them just as this whole thing started to unfold. The Patriots push and push and push some more. Then, when they get caught they go into their bag of lawyer speak that moronic fans regurgitate verbatim....things like "Everyone else does it" and "A lack of specificity leaves that rule up to interpretation and we followed the rules based on our interpretation" and "atmospheric pressure causing air imbalances...blah blah blah" When you're sanctioned a 1st Round draft pick not once, but twice in less than a decade, something is wrong with your organization. They have had the same Owner, Head Coach and QB for 15 years!.....15 YEARS! They've gotten comfortable, cocky and feel entitled to victories. It's why they're always pushing on the rules, seeking changes, speaking at meetings of the Rules Committee, etc. The Patriots have simply taken a calculated risk/reward approach in saying that improving our chances of winning far outweighs the probability we'll get caught. In fact, just think about the things they likely HAVEN'T BEEN CAUGHT FOR! Look, Tom Brady is a great football player but there's a reason why other greats of the game like Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers have only won one Super Bowl. Brady had the wind at his back, fueled by an unfair advantage for which data is now coming to light. Look at the Patriots fumble percentage over the past 5 years. It is statistically anomalous to have such a ridiculously low rate of fumbles, especially as an outdoor team. Their fumble rate was 52% better than the average in the league, an average that includes dome teams that rarely play in bad weather, rain, snow, etc. Again, Brady is a great football player but you don't get to 6 Super Bowls in League full of parity without an unfair advantage...or several unfair advantages. I feel bad for true fans like your brother who thought they were getting an honest product and who thought Brady was the genuine article. The fact of the matter is that the Patriots never won a Super Bowl before 2001, and they've still never won a legitimate one. I think fans would have rather seen Brady and Pats go to 2 or three Super Bowls and take home two rings fairly than have a cloud cast of everything they've done the past 15 years.

. I always wanted to pretend to be an Architect.... I thought you wanted to pretend to be a Marine Biologist working on lowering the cholesterol level in whales. All that blubber, it's quite unhealthy. You know, it's the largest mammal on earth, but they don't have to be.
