I have to think that Goodell knows about the Patriots absurd fumble ratio since 2010 in non-dome stadiums. It is simply not very possible without some kind of cheating. They must realize that this has been going on with the ballboys for a very long time, which would help explain the Patriots as the only outlier on this chart from the January Wall Street Journal article. Patriots are at 73. The League average is 48.... a 25 play difference between Pats fumbles and the NFL average. The M.A.D. (Mean Absolute Deviation) is 3.68 The Patriots are nearly 7 deviations from the mean! That is a major statistical red flag. The Patriots have been cheating for a long time now, and the league knows it.I am VERY curious to see the Patriots fumble rate next season.

. I always wanted to pretend to be an Architect.... I thought you wanted to pretend to be a Marine Biologist working on lowering the cholesterol level in whales. All that blubber, it's quite unhealthy. You know, it's the largest mammal on earth, but they don't have to be. LOL.

The fact of the matter is that the world is running out of "gates" for the Patriots. Whether it's Spygate, Deflategate or whatever there's simply a pervasive pattern of deception and cheating that's embedded in the organization. Even seemingly nice, upstanding, charitable guys like the luminous Tom Brady can't resist being assimilated into a culture based on winning by any means necessary. He shrunk up like a frightened turtle when the NFL came looking for phone records of his communications with equipment managers and staff. If the NFL hadn't obtained their records then no one would have known that Brady, who rarely if ever communicated with those guys during the season, all of a sudden had 5 phone conversations and was sending text messages to them just as this whole thing started to unfold. The Patriots are the Borg. Resistance is futile. Very well said!

That's a stache you can trust. Who told you to put the balm on? Millions of dollars to be the leagues bitch. Nice work if you can get it.

Yeah, the NFL was on such a witch hunt, out to get the Patriots, that they ignored this for a decade, ignored the email the Colts sent them earlier in the 2014 season, until the Patriots and Tom Brady could claim their 4th Superbowl. Not until THEN, once Brady's SB was safe, did they finally do something about the problem, and hand down this "oh so harsh" punishment. AFTER the FACT and when it no longer presents an obstacle to the Patriots winning the Superbowl! And will do nothing about the illegally obtained victory, even though they admit it was achieved by cheating. Yeah, some witch hunt!
