That game was the perfect game at this point of the season
Geno played as good of a game as he has all year, probably his best of his NFL career, he was balanced, he attacked, he was confident, the offense did the job. The defense was up and down, that game winning play wasn't even on Rex.
Geno's confidence is rising, his play his rising, the ending was perfect. I'll never root for the team to lose, but winning that game means nothing, but the team played hard, and for that I'm happy.
We all know the defense is missing key players and players in the secondary. We are playing with practice squad CB's. Even the play that Walls gave up he had a play on the ball.
I just hope Harvin isn't hurt too bad.
I want Geno to continue playing well, I want his confidence to improve, I want to see Geno play well and make his case for the QB equation for next year, I thought that was the best part of the game!
I even liked the offensive game plan against a pretty good defense and a good defensive coach.
Oh and the Raiders are about to beat the 49ers, putting them into a tie, the more our competition wins, the better our pick gets...
Now for a complete destruction of the Pats, maybe even a sprinkling of season ending injuries to key players would put this Sunday as an early Christmas present.
Tx can go fuck himself!

I'm sorry, I can't root for a loss. I'd like to, but frankly, it's pointless -- there's no guarantee that this team will make a good draft decision anyway. So I want to see these guys win games when they can.
And they should have won this game. How many trips into the redzone ended in a FG? Five? That's insultingly bad. Their redzone offense is offensive to watch. Geno looked great today, which makes all of his previous games even more baffling.

G-Nope looked great today, which makes all of his previous games even more baffling. Just goes to show how much of a fucking idiot Rex is. The offensive gameplan against the Dolphins was some of the dumbest shit I've seen and set football back 50 years. Don't care if we almost ended up winning the game. After sitting on the bench for a month, let the kid show if he's learned anything. It's already a lost season. You aren't learning dick about him if you have him hand the ball off 49 times and only put it in the air 8 times through 58 1/2 minutes.

I do agree generally, but I find it hard to get excited about how Geno played. He played well at the end of last year as well - so what? Came out and shit the bed to start this year.

He had more than one good game Oakland, New England, Green Bay off the top of my head. And he looked pretty damn good today aside from the early pick 6. The fact is that Vick isn't an improvement over Geno in the slightest at this stage. Rex will trust a turnover prone, disinterested Michael Vick who was never a good passer in the first place to execute the offense...but oh lord, not Geno. Not the kid who still has potential and a chance (however minute) to salvage his career. Nope, let's go with the 35 year old jerkoff who won't even be on the team in 2 months and gives us no better chance at winning.

But to be fair, the weather conditions were from ideal today with that nasty wind and cold. A big criticism of Geno is his inability to play in poor conditions...so maybe some progress?

Geno absolutely SHOULD be part of any equation at the QB position. I know he took a step back through the first 9 games, but if he finishes strong and plays like he did today the rest of the way, then things are looking up.
People need to stop with this crap that our drafted QB's need to be Peyton freaking Manning after one damn year. It takes TIME for QB's to develop, to go through the ups and downs, the same idiots all screaming for Geno to go, and for the Jets to draft whoever is coming out of college this year, will be the same clowns to scream for their removal in their rookie year when they too don't perform like Manning right away.
Geno is still just 23 years old, it's ridiculous that anybody writes Geno off after 1 year and 9 games. I would agree that the Jets should make moves at QB this off-season, even draft one high in the draft, but Geno should still be part of that equation.
Stop the nonsense, it takes time for these players to develop, especially QB's in a NY market with our hack media.

Why send Geno out there if you don't want him to throw? Activate Simms and let him hand the ball off 50 times if that's what you want to do....

Turn the damn "G-Nope" filter off... No don't Geno fuckin sucks. He did the same shit to end the year last season. And he sucked it up all over again. Has nothing to do with Rex. Geno sucks ass and always will. There's nothing more to learn.

Turn the damn "G-Nope" filter off... Ray, The problem is that Geno played average at best today and people think that is a good game... He did throw a pick 6... He did fail to get the team in the end zone from the Red Zone numerous times... He is a placeholder at best until we find a real QB!
