I grew up in the Houston area and spent two summers in Alabama and Georgia - summers there are no laughing matter. they fucking suck. This is what cracks me up about people who move to "warm weather states" and snicker when the north gets snow in the winter. Oh. The weather is so great down there. Then why does everyone spend more than six months a year in air conditioning? Because it's too hot. I'd rather deal with snow than face melting temperatures. I'm pretty much the opposite. I'd rather have 105 degrees than 5 degrees any day! And you don't need to shovel sunshine. But again, that's just my opinion. I like wearing jeans and a t-shirt in December, playing golf in February, etc.

It's why you get so many weirdos in Florida and California. Joe Rogan has a bit on the same thing. www.cc.com/video-clips/8q1y49/stand-up-joe-rogan--the-importance-of-winter
