I disagree with Graham making it over Shaq.
I think Saxton makes it over Davis.
No way Ijalana makes it over Harrison.
I think Joe Mays and IK make the roster over Lattimore and Babin.

Yeah don't totally agree here. I think Posey makes it over Graham. Brian Winters might be a surprise cut and I can see either one of Harrison or Brown beating him out. Ijalana will not make the final cuts either. Either Pace or Babin will make the final cut not both and Riley will be a PSer. The final spots will go to IK and Jones. I also see Rontez Miles beat out a guy like Walls because they need more depth at safety.

Agree with most of it except not sure why he's elevating Graham over some of the other WR's some of whom have definitely shown some promise, unless it's to purge as much of the Idzik leftovers as possible. I'm not even sure who Graham is and why he thinks he's making the final cut. I'd think Mac might want Posey to stick since he's sort of 'his' guy.

He has Mac cutting 2 of his draft selections and his draft day trade for Possey.
If this happens you know Cimini will be spilling his guts for missing on late round draft picks.

Cimini's method is to keep all players he has seen play, particularly veterans, and cut everyone else. Babin and Pace? In. Taiwan Jones and IK? Too young.
TJ Graham? In...Cimini has seen him play. Devier Posey? Cimini has neva heard of him. Out.
It's such an uninspired list. No bold predictions for rookies. It goes on. Ijalana over Harrison. If Cimini was the GM of all teams the average roster age might be approaching 40.

You could make a really nice up-and-coming developmental group with those cuts. Jarvis Harrison, Taiwan Jones, Shaq Evans, etc. Those are some guys who I could all see as solid potential role-players in the NFL within a couple years, possibly starters. I'm not sure if Harrison is cut that he'd make it to the Practice Squad. I think he'd get picked up by some team.

My thoughts are below: Quarterbacks (3): Geno Smith, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Bryce Petty (cut: Jake Heaps). Agree. Heaps to PSRunning backs (4): Chris Ivory, Bilal Powell, Zac Stacy, Stevan Ridley (cut: Daryl Richardson). Agree.Fullback (1): Tommy Bohanon (cut: J.C. Copeland). Not sure if we even carry a FB. I will go out on a limb and say we don't carry a FB. Bohanon cut and Copeland to PS.Wide receivers (5): Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, Jeremy Kerley, Devin Smith, T.J. Graham (cut: DeVier Posey, Chris Owusu, Saalim Hakim, Quincy Enunwa, Shaquelle Evans, Walter Powell, Jonathon Rumph). I think we go with 6. Owusu or Graham will make it since they are our only KRs. Going with Owusu ahead of Graham. Either Posey or Evancs as 5th WR. Have not yet seen anything of Evans, So I am going with Posey since Macc brought him over from Houston.Tight ends (3): Jeff Cumberland, Jace Amaro, Kellen Davis (cut: Steve Maneri, Wes Saxton). Agree. Saxton to PS.Offensive line (9): D'Brickashaw Ferguson, James Carpenter, Nick Mangold, Willie Colon, Breno Giacomini, Ben Ijalana, Oday Aboushi, Brian Winters, Dakota Dozier (cut: Brent Qvale, Jarvis Harrison, Dalton Freeman, Charles Brown, James Brewer, Wesley Johnson). Qvale ahead of Ijalana. Harrison ahead of Winters or Aboushi. Aboushi looked better than Winters last season so I am going to say he sticks and Winters does not make it. Colon is in danger if the young guards look good.Defensive line (6): Muhammad Wilkerson, Damon Harrison, Leonard Williams, Leger Douzable, T.J. Barnes, Kevin Vickerson (suspended: Sheldon Richardson; cut: Stephen Bowen, Ronald Talley, Deon Simon, Davon Walls, Jordan Williams). Agree. When Sheldon comes back its bye bye Vickerson.Linebackers (9): David Harris, Demario Davis, Quinton Coples, Calvin Pace, Lorenzo Mauldin, Jason Babin, Jamari Lattimore, Trevor Reilly, Erin Henderson (cut: Joe Mays, Ikemefuna Enemkpali, Julian Howsare, Deion Barnes, Taiwan Jones). Don't see any way that both Pace & Babin make the roster. Babin gets cut & IK makes it. Bowles has said he likes a pipeline of young pass rushers to develop and IK fits that bill. Reilly gets cut and Taiwan Jones makes it in his place. Reilly was a good ST player, but Jones has more upside and Lattimore/Jones can give them what Reilly did on Specials.Defensive backs (10): Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie, Buster Skrine, Calvin Pryor, Marcus Gilchrist, Antonio Allen, Jaiquawn Jarrett, Darrin Walls, Marcus Williams, Dex McDougle (PUP: Dee Milliner; cut: Rontez Miles, Dashaun Phillips, Keith Lewis, Durell Eskridge, Curtis Brown). Not much to disagree with here. Maybe Miles makes it and Jarrett is a surprise cut.Specialists (3): PK Nick Folk, P Ryan Quigley, LS Tanner Purdum (cut: PK Andrew Furney, P Jacob Schum). Agree.Read more: newyorkjetshampur.com/thread/3033/semens-53#ixzz3grWN55Df

Since I thought Cimini's projected 53 was laughable, I decided to go back to last year and see how he did at projecting the 53 prior to TC. He did a much better job than I expected. He correctly picked 42 of the 53 in mid July last year.
Still think he is pretty off base this year, but i guess we will see.
