Frankly, I dont think Geno is the worst starting QB in the league, in fact I don't think he is as bad as some of you do. The main reason I still believe in him is as plain as the nose on your face. Look at his stats when the line is playing well. I'm sorry but we only have two good players on the line until I see more this season. I can make excuses about who we are throwing to because we have has the WORST WR's in the league the last few years too but the MAIN reason he is viewed as the worst in the league is because...............wait for it..........................he plays for the Jets. The media hates everything Jet related and every compliment comes with a "well let's just wait and see how this plays out" attitude. Even if we won the damn superbowl it wouldnt be because we are good, it would be because we were freaking lucky. If the pats got lucky (ala last years superbowl) then it's good teams make their own luck. The media and fans of other teams can hate on Geno all they want and while I'm NOT singing his praises you can't tell me the following QB's are better than him: Matt Cassell- C'mon Josh McBrown- lol Ryan Mallett- (not enough intel on this one yet) Mariotta- he's a freaking rookie for christ sake!!! Famous Jameis- He hasnt even stolen his 1st crab leg or raped a reporter yet but he's already better than Geno??? Jay Cutlet- You can debate this one but I never liked him. He was a loser in college and I still think he is. I still cant understand why he was picked so high?? Because of his arm strength? Aaron Rogers- ok, I'm just fukkin wit you here. Derek Carr- I dont know what you were watching but I don't see the light on yet. Give him some time. Blake Bortles- Let me be the first to say it here- BUM. My point is, yeah, I'd have laughed too. All things being equal i.e. better line play, less bombastic (foolish) HC, NFL caliber receivers, non-jets uniform/biased media. Geno would not be on the bottom of the list. lol he wouldnt be at the top but he isnt afforded the same grace period that another qb is. Mariotta even before he got drafted was given the built in excuse that he needs two years and is a project because there is a STEEP learning curve, spread offense, needs to work on footwork, needs at least two years....blah blah blah.....Geno? TWO years? he's a bum and he's not smart enough. So before you flame on (I'm sure you will) I'm just saying I think there is virtually no way he can be the worst. I do believe that we have better WR's, a system that fits him better, a better coach (it seems that way so far) and MAYBE we can get some consistent play out of the line. I just don't think there is anyway he lands 32 out of 32. if he does this post will be secretly deleted.

Dude c'mon, just about every NFL GM and their mother would take Winston, Carr and Cutler over Geno in a heartbeat. Hell, you can even say Cassell too, seeing as how he won 11 games in a season. You can make an argument for the other guys.

I think Geno's reaction is an extension of last year's lack of accountability. Hopefully, the new coaching staff will knock that out of him and he'll own up to having to improve.

Good response for the first time he was asked that question, on the 87th time it's time to laugh in their face. and they'll continue asking that question as long as he leads the league in turnovers. That's the way it goes. Right. If he hasn't changed anything - why change the question?

I feel good about Geno this year... not rainbows and unicorns, but my gut tells me he's going to do OK with chan and the new talent around him. Not stressing. Yet.

This is what scares me about this season. The optimists attribute Geno's failures to the lack of receiving targets, but even though there is some truth to that, Geno should do better than placing dead last. With the targets he has now, say Geno improves from 32nd to 22nd, which is a big improvement, Geno still won't be good enough to be a franchise level QB. Currently, he's not even adequate as a game manager because his play is too eratic. If he can't shake free from being eratic in is first four games, I'm willing to end the Geno experiment. There's some truth in your words, and there's some ignorance too. 1st of all... All Qbs suck their rookie year. Unless you come from Luckonian blood, you're going to look exactly like Geno did in year 1.. so let's get over ourselves. Carr and Bortles looked equally as shitty. 2nd of all... Rex's offenses were some of the most dynsfunction in the NFL.. Routinely. Now Geno had a helping hand in the that turkey dinner, but it's moronic to point at him and say - HIM! HE'S THE SHIT-BIRD!! The stage is set. He has September to sink or swim. Arguing about what he was or wasn't last year is an exercise in wasted time.

IMO Cassell has already shown that he was a has been that never was. Winning 11 games ONE time a few seasons ago and being a nothing QB every since doesnt make him anything better than what we have. Cutler is a loser and a cancer. I'd be willing to bet his own current teammates I bet would testify to that. As far as Winston and Carr, it's too early to tell on either of them but Of course they might spin the wheel on potential. I just don't see how "potential" give them a rating higher than Geno. Hell Winston has never played a down in the league. That's just crazy

This conceited dumb as a cow is starting early this year i see. I said it when he was drafted and i have been screaming about it for 2 years. He is the worst QB. He is dumb you can not fix stupid. He has serious character flaws and truly truly believes he is much better then he is. It's the main reason for the interceptions he really believes he can get it done when he cant. Fuck him i hate his fucking guts he is no qb certainly no leader and is a total pos. He has already started to point at his team because he knows what's going to happen. Fitzpatrick deliver us from this absolute fucking moron. And the geno reasonable opinion havers are as stupid as he is tor defending this fucking conceited dumb cow

The other half or (more like a third) I'm feeling like he's finally putting things together and the team will get on a roll. If he continues with this roller coaster ride in 2015 I'm through with him after the first several games. He is the most inconsistent QB I have ever seen existed. He kind of reminds me of Jake Cutler but not as good.
