There's no rule explicitly forbidding punching your own QB in the mouth because of $600.00. So he wasn't expecting punishment. Plus, fuck cindy brady.

Let's hope that thought process doesn't catch on. "Rodger, I'd like to appeal my ban for taking a chainsaw into the locker room and severing my teammates limbs off, because as you know, there's no rule to say I can't"

This reductio ad absurdum logic shouldn't stop with Tom Brady benefiting from it.

IK is black, Brady's white. He'll lose his appeal. Marshall told me so

Brady should have taken his medicine too. Everyone appeals everything.

Brady should have taken his medicine too. Everyone appeals everything. That's the whole point. Brady didn't take his medicine why should anyone else have to? Ironically it's personal conduct penalties that always get overturned. Lawyers here were predicting his suspension would not get overturned because it was a rules violation and there was no precedent for such a penalty being overturned. Forgetting of course that it was golden boy Brady we were talking about. It's not a crime if it's not prohibited in the rule book. That is Roger's legacy that we all have him to be thankful for.

The whole system is a sham, no matter what the crime is it's always subject to an appeal and a possible reduction. You broke a mans jaw, just take the ban, you cheated, take the ban. No one is afraid to brake any rules because they know there's no consequences.

Not sure why Geno isn't getting suspended. Afterall, he hit a man's hand with his face to save $600 right?

LOL What a waste of a roster spot yeah, like that'll happen. I don't think there are any other teams that want to have their own QB offed like that
