If you pee on a dog will they take that as an act of dominance and be submissive? I'm asking for a friend.

Never peed on a dog on purpose, but I do know if you stand on there neck they'll often consider you the dominate one. Meet Ned, were adopting him this week end, wife will fly down to San Diego and pick him up Saturday.

Lucky dog.

When it comes to training they always need a good beatdown now and then during their mischievous puppy phase. Makes for a better dog in the long run....depending upon breed.

=========================================== Every boy needs a dog! Yeah... but not everybody needs to step on them and injure them... ============================================ Haven't had a chance to stand on Ned yet, current owner claims Ned received a spiral fracture falling out of bed . Looked up the breeders info and it is listed as one of the 100 worst puppy mills, so there are some concerns. The current owner bought Ned and one of his sisters and the two of them are too much of a handful and we heard of her plight so here we are. But free is a very good price,, $300 in air fair roughly, and he will need neutered and of course continuing Vet care for the leg.

Lucky dog. ============================================= I am firm with my Vizslas and demand that they behavee, but with this breed you just have to raise your voice to send them cowering, so no standing on Ned. I do admit to backhanding the dogs when immediate behavior corrections are needed, like if they ever get aggressive around kids and such.

I'm asking for a friend. =============== Seriously, you can hold/pin a dog down physically with out hurting them, and thus show your dominance. I have done this to dogs that I have had to watch while there owners were out and about to help them understand the pecking order.

I peed on my wife once. She was not pleased.
Hope that helps.

When my dog was a pup I used to let him sleep on my chest. I once woke up to a warm sensation.
And thats the story of my first golden shower.

Im asking for a friend But seriously, good job adopting this one - sounds like he was in a shitty situation early on...
