Fitz still scares me chucking the ball up there at times. Lack of rushing attack last night was concerning as well. Trying to temper my enthusiasm chucking the ball up? he attacked the Dolts weakness: their secondary. drew a couple of penalties, even in double coverage. the 1 INT was unfortunate but not the end of the world He forced it into Fitz a few times...the ball stayed up there awhile Also, he did throw a duck that got picked. Granted, this is better QB play than we have been accustomed to, but it's not great play in any sense

My only concern is one that really isn't going to be able to be sussed out; how much the penalties may have figured into the victory. Were the Colts so overwhelmed by the Jets defense that they had no choice to commit the penalties or are they just awful? Or were the refs flag-happy? Seems nit-picky on the surface, but there's a lot of hidden yardage and momentum changes there. Eh. Some were by them shooting themselves in the foot, some were holding calls because they were getting beat, and PI calls are always up and down. But that's why I can't hate on the Jets taking shots down field. These days with the refs calling for just touching a player, you might as well throw it up and more then likely you'll get a flag in your favor. imo the flags on the dolts for holding were because the jet dline was getting penetration. they got it the whole game and i will hazard that the dolts were holding on nearly every pass play. but the calls in the first half were salso negated by the colts finally scoring and making it a 3 point. of greater concern to them should be the ints and gores fumble. the fumble was a back breaker.

the jets played one of the most complete games i've ever seen. the defense was awesome and the Cluck's escape abilities kept the colts from being absolutely pummeled. gore is a tough runner and they are Clucky he fumbled. i was surprised to see cromartie out there so much. where was williams? the jet offense seemed to be playing rope a dope for much of the 2nd and 3rd quaters. the comeback td after the colts scored was huge but there were times when they couldn't extend a drive beyond 1 or so first downs. special teams? no great returns made or given. quigly has trouble with distance but he also made acouple of short kicks that pinned the colts inside their 10.The only reason he was able to pin the colts inside their 10 was because of his PUSSY-kicks that barely would make mid-field and thus were Soft(like his fucking head) enough to just die around the 5-yard line. Really wish Mac would find us a new Punter....

BRAWL!

BRAWL! That might actually make the game more entertaining.... But then again, I'd prefer not to see any Jets suspended due to Eagles fuckery. A nice thought(Jets/Eagles brawl), though.
