Stadlfford was put on the bench because he's stinking up the Lions (amazing but true). Many say it is not him, but his lack of support (aka O-line).
If you're Maccagnan, do you make a play for him?

Me too. we've still got the "hold the fort" guy and then we have a better possibility of someone special.

He has definitely underwhelmed and has relied on Calvin Johnson a lot but I still don't think it's all his fault. Would be pretty ironic if we traded for someone from Sanchez's draft class that was drafted even higher

stafford is a good qb but i doubt if the jets can find the cap room without depleting some other aspect of the team.

I really hope you're joking, the guy is garbage. His biggest asset is a cannon for an arm and that's about it...he's mentally weak, interception prone and lacks any sort of touch. Even Caldwell the QB whisperer has done nothing with this guy. Some of these traits were on display at UGA so it stands to reason why he's in DET...they're an awful organization.

He was benched because they were already down 21 and he's playing hurt - very highly doubt they're considering trading him or making any changes at QB

Well, my initial post was neutral, so I was not joking. I am in favor of continuing to turn over the rocks to look for something long term. A cannon can do well with Devin Smith.

There is ZERO chance the Lions would ever trade him.

There is ZERO chance the Lions would ever trade him. He mocks us anyways like we're a hated rival for some reason. Fuck that guy, I'm glad he sucks. I bet they wish they had Uncle Fitzmagic.
