It's really not looking good at all for this franchise for a while.

The problem is the Goodell had made the NFL the crap it is now. Cater the rules to give teams with elite QBS too much of an advantage. There are the haves and have nots.
When was the last time there were 6 teams that will finish with 3 wins or less. Hell 3 wins used to guarantee you a top 2 pick.

Maybe we will luck out and be ahead of the curve when the game flows back to defense and running centric.

The NFL has fucked itself by placing so much emphasis on QB play. There's only a handful of QBs out there that can lead a franchise. The other 26 NFL teams are fucked. Plain and simple. There aren't 10 elite QBs coming out of college every year, so there's a huge QB vacuum in the NFL. im surprised, quite frankly, there hasn't been much, if any, media coverage about this.

Almost like basketball. Only a handful of teams that have a true shot at the super bowl. And the reason why the media hasn't covered it is because they are more focused on TMZ stories like what Johnny Manziel had for breakfast.

Trying to comprehend what I saw today. With about 6 minutes left the Jets were going to punt from their own 15 yard line, down 1. Quigley was due for a shank. Then Decker gets "trash talked" (oh won't somebody think of the children) by his former TEAMMATE who wasn't even in the game but rather sought him out on the sidelines. Former teammates are usually seen embracing at midfield after the game. But no, not us, not in the biggest moment of the season.
I knew that Goodell's crusade against the N word was going to FUCK us this season, I just never imagined this was how it was going to be.
I've just fucking had it. 3 wins used to guarantee a top 3 pick, now we are likely to end up 6th. This season of all seasons. It's bigger than Mariota, it's the allure of a top selection for a new HC and GM.
The year where everybody also sucks, we choose to suck and, oh, have a better SOS than almost everybody.
Next year should be a ball of fun. The absolute best case scenario right now is Cooper, and that's not very likely with Oakland now picking ahead of us. I wouldn't be against trading our first rounder plus more for Kaepernick. Buy low. I don't know if I can stand a year of a Christian Ponder type QB with no future franchise QB being groomed.
Fuck this team and their fucking idiot head coach, outcast life-failure of an owner, and their fucking turd green uniforms that get darker every year from all the shit they spew.

Problem for any team that swings and misses on a franchise QB. You have to give the guy at least 2 years, and in the meantime you don't draft a QB because you can't afford to have two young # 1s on the roster. When the QB flops you're stuck with a veteran no-hoper or a young backup with no experience for another season.
Jets have been on this merry go round since Pennington's shoulder was injured. Geno's not the answer-so we go back on the QB carousel.
