Pardon the thread title -- The point of this sonnet is to bring attention to the Philly quagmire, and that's to say the Pats will "Force Fitz to play beyond his arm"...
Worst part is, they're well manned to execute it. I think they'll only rush 4, keep the LBs spying on our running game and QB while letting their surprisingly effective secondary blanket everything underneath. They're not gonna make anything easy for our WRs.
I'm not concerned about our Defense, we'll keep it within fighting distance. limit them to 21-24 points. Scoring 24+ for the Jets, could be difficult...
Thoughts? how do you see us game planning on offense for this game?

Most obvious thing ever upcoming: We need to run the balls off of Ivory even if it isn't working early. I wonder if that's why Bowles took him out in that game early. Our running game looks completely different when he isn't playing. Outside of that we need to take a couple play action shots to Smith or Marshall to keep them honest and just try to work Decker over the middle. Winning field position and time of possession are key. We can't have any bad turnovers handing them points. Quigley fucking kills us in games like this.

Running......Running....Running..... short passes to b marsh decker all day and fitz can let a few go deep to keep it honest. Let b marsh ivory decker catch the short outs and gain yards with their ability. Its that fucking simple. Where the fuck is Brady going to throw? You know hes not going deep

I'm way more concerned with stopping Edelman and Gronk than our offense vs the Pats - Ivory will run laps around their run D

He's long enough to play with him and while Gronk is very fast for a TE he isn't Cro fast. The only thing that scares me are bubble screens and short passes where Cro just won't be even close to tackling him. Maybe have a LB chip for him. Anyway...Revis has to be on Edelman as often as makes sense. That little shit is on the juice and he's killing teams.

I'm sure the likes of Blount and Lewis will combine for all of 30 yards on our four man front alone.

IIRC Allen was the one guy who was always solid in covering Gronk - not sure Cro has the same skillset. I'd say maybe Skrine but he's on the smaller side and going through concussion protocol.

Pats O-line is banged up - we should blitz early and often. I don't care if we give up some early big gains - Brady gets happy feet after a few hits like every QB. And his comfort is pretty key to their rhythm passing game.

Yeah there isn't really an awesome option. Allen definitely did well in his time covering him. Hopefully he just eats bad shellfish and misses the game.

That's why they are fag losing teams to begin with.

Macho© teams rely on rule-breaking that gets quickly banned by the NFL and their QB blowing his rape whistle when a D-lineman gets within 3 feet of him. The 'new' NFL rules propped Cindy up for so long - he would have been eaten alive if he played 20 years ago. But continue your dissertation on fags in the NFL....

Dink and dunk all day, not going to get very far either way.
