I was fairly certain that this muscle-bound juice-head narcissist hated the Jets. Quigley is injured and potentially being put on IR. As of this afternoon, Weatherford has announced that he has received a call *today* from his agent that he has been signed as a desperation move. Due to legal issues and the lack of official documentation, he cannot state which team he is going to play for tomorrow, but confirms that it is in the NFL and will not be in London. Ryan Quigley has been a par to sub par punter for too long. I don't care if he's a juiced up narcissist, hes leaps and bounds better than Quigley and punting can be a huge portion of the game, especially with our defense. Hope he signs.

GTFO!!!! Mr 5% body fat back to the Jets? I guess he'd rather play for a team he hates, than no one. First I'm hearing of Quigsticks being hurt. When and where? Is that why he's so awful?

I know Weatherford locked horns with Westhoff, but Westhoff is far from the kindly old Grandfather once he takes the field. When he is off the field, I've read that he is extremely friendly, candid, and accommodating to fans. Anyway, I always like Weatherford when he was with the Jets, and I'm glad to have him back. I'm not sure how much his skills have diminished, if any, or if he's just a hard guy to get along with. I really don't care either way, I only care about a respectable punter being on the Jets who knows situations, and follows instructions. I think coach Bowles will know how to handle him, as well as the special teams coach. Also, I agree, that Quigley's performance over the last several years leaves room for improvement.

Yes, Weatherford is annoying as hell. However, unlike Shanks Quigley, he doesn't suck at his actual job.

Off the top of my head. This guy was money for us during the 2010 season, horrible for us in the playoffs that year, and I believed he was the biggest reason the Giants won the super bowl against the Patriots. He pinned them back the whole game. Obviously there's a reason he's not on a team so we shall see |
