For those who just want a draft pick, they really don't understand the heart of the players in the locker room. That doesn't sound like a Jet fan to me. A Jet fan is a tough guy and wants to win. That's what we gave our true Jet fans today." Neither Mariota nor Winston is considered an immediate-impact quarterback along the lines of generational talents like Andrew Luck or Manning. And yes, the Jets must fill many other needs, besides quarterback, before they are any good again. But that doesn't mean Mariota or Winston wouldn't be an upgrade over Geno Smith, the Jets' current quarterback. Somehow, some way, the Jets need to explore options for replacing Smith this offseason. If they aren't in position to draft Mariota or Winston, they would have to think about getting a quarterback in free agency or via a trade. "Any fan who wants us to lose, I don't think that should be the idea of any fan or any fan base," Smith said.

Real fans like that fucking horrible family of frontrunners in that NFL.com commercial who all chose new teams for no fucking reason at all and loyally buy the NFL's Official Merchandise (tm) for all their new teams at 2,000% markup.
Real fans keep the money flowing to the owners. Real fans live in a fugue state of Pepsi halftimes and Coors Light Cold Hard Facts and the ADRENALINE that comes from seeing your team take the field to Katy Perry on the loudspeakers and getting a .75c discount on their $14 beer. This is FOOTBALL, baby.

Sheldon plays fucking defense and thinks his Defensive Head Coach (I use that term lightly) shits roses from his fucking asshole. I'd be more interested to hear Eric Decker's, Percy Harvin's, and Jeremy Kerley's candid opinion on the quarterback situation. Not a bunch of guys who would love nothing more than to try and win football games using a 1945 style offense. You hate losing Sheldon? You havent seen the last of it you stupid asshole. I'd take the opportunity to draft a QB like Mariota over a win against the goddamn Titans every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

The article says that Mariota isn't Peyton Manning(duh!!) but Mariota still is a FRANCHISE-LEVEL QB, though. (at least that's what all the nitwits and pundits say...) Now I really hope the Jets manage to get the #1 pick somehow so they would have NO CHOICE but to draft Mariota. Oh and Rex? I've pretty much lost interest in this WWE version of football, catered to women and sodomites. And don't even get me started with these FUCKING commercials of the football players and coaches not saying anything, looking like they are gonna cry/in shock over speaking about Domestic Violence.
