wasted my afternoon watching the thing. the worst thing this or any team can do is come out and not play fundamentally good football. there way too much poor tackling and carr didn't have any pressure all afternoon. the jets adjusted a little at the half but it was too little too late.
fitz's injury looks like it's going to keep him out a few games. can geno step up and win? imo he looked okay for much of the game but had some issues at the end. and he got hit pretty hard when he was speared at the end. nice of the refs to no make a call. they're 4-3 and really have to win the next 3 to get on track.

I thing we can take a dose of reality.
That was scary. I always knew our OL was shit without Mangold but holy fvck that was bad.
Demario Davis and Cro played like it was a walkthrough.
Geno made some dumb plays down the stretch but I cant even blame him. This was over before it started.

I'm not sure this is a take away, but I'm very curious how Bowels responds next week. Real bad week for him.
Team was flat as a board. Decision to play Williams at Safety backfired and he continued to give run to Coples and Davis who continually make mistake after mistake. Game management was also poor. Rookue coaches will make mistakes. Good ones learn from them. Next week we will see what Bowles learned.
I would not be surprised if they thump Jacksonville.

We can take away our fairy tale dreams that we are ready to compete. Playoff teams go into oakland and win that shit. We area 9-7 team backing into a wc spot if we are lucky.

True on Bowles but players also have to step up. The coach isn't out there missing all those tackles. Genos play brings down the whole offense. With all the injuries this team has, which I'm sure will carry into next week. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Jags do just what the raiders did today. Revis could barely keep up with Cooper, lord help us with Robinson next week.

I just don't know who the leader is that says something first.

We put up 20 pts, which should be plenty with the #2 defense in the league. Period. Oh and Ivory had like 25 yrds on a ton of carries today. We got beaten up bad at the line of scrimage on both sides of the ball. Was geno brilliant, no. Is he responsible for this loss? Cmon.

My biggest take away is that Pryor has become an invaluable piece of this defense and guys like Cro, Davis and Coples need to take a fucking seat.
Start Williams opposite Revis, Henderson next to Harris, and rotate Reilly/Mauldin in place of Coples.

The D gave up too many points early in the game. And at the end of the game when the offense had the ball back a few times. They did nothing with it. We're talking about geno because do you really think he can lead this offense better then what we've seen with fitz? I hope he can but I seriously doubt it. That sack he took when he had all the time in the world just baffles me. He can score here and there but it's those dumb mistakes that holds us back.

Genope is not as good as fitz it's fucking clear as day. And he's a fuckin idiot too. He showed he is exactly the kind of dumbass that lets a 600 debt lead to getting his jaw broke. I'd be fine with them cutting the bum. Maybe try to trade him for Sanchez but that may be tough because with Chips racist tendencies and all.

They had no impact on our winning or losing today and if anything the kid put up some decent numbers. The issue with our offense today was that we couldn't run the ball. Which is surprising and different than what we should expect. 20 pts and we should win 75% of the time. I just can't stomach our fans ragging on our back up qb for playing exactly like we would expect him to, when our dline of 3 first rounders got horsed for the second week in a row.
