Brady's long throws looked horrible today, at least as bad if not worse than Fitz's. He heaves his whole body into it with his right shoulder making a huge arc from back to front. How is this so different than what Fitz is capable of? Is getting the ball out a little quicker making all the difference? I want to know why we can't adopt this style of play. Shatz O line is allowed to hold one second longer than everyone else. That makes all the difference.

You didn't like his throw to LaFell? Hit him right in stride. It isn't simply adopting a style....you need to redesign your entire offense and you need a QB capable of running it.

Is getting the ball out a little quicker making all the difference? Yes, it is... Fitz has a windup and is not as accurate on the short/intermediate throws...that's what separates Brady from the rest... That and cameras, Ernie Adams, jamming other teams communications, bugging locker rooms, deflating balls, etc

Because Brady sure has that on long ones as well as long follow through today. I guess teams just aren't ready for them since he does it so rarely anymore otherwise they should be easily interceptable

That throw is a perfect example of what I'm talking about long windup rainbow he looks like a high school QB. The Giants defender was pitiful. I occasionally visit the Dolphags board and they spent about a year asking themselves, "Tannehill can make all the dump-off throws Brady does, why can't he play the same way?" Brady has been working in and constantly perfecting the same offensive system for 15 years. Using the eye-test to assume anyone can just do it is simplistic and ignorant of the nuances that make the Pats' offensive system hum. Reading the defense at the LOS, anticipating option routes based on matchups, etc.

Sure he had almost 200 yard in the 4th quarter but ewwwwww look at how he threw it.

They haven't had a real NFL QB since Namath, yet they feel they are in a position to critique the GOAT. Pure envy and jealousy, nothing more.
