How is this even a competition? Superman can destroy Batman. This whole premise just seems lame Read the Dark Knight offerings of Frank Miller and you'll understand; Superman is an overgrown Boy Scout and therein has always lied his weakness. I have higher hopes than I previously did based on this.

Grown people still fork out money for these things? Sure I'd say a huge chunk of the audience who goes to these movies are people 35-70 who grew up reading comics as kids. And I'd certainly go see a Batman vs Superman flick over some pretentious, 2 1/2 hour bullshit about concussions in football, the latest rom-com, or the latest in a long line of shitty remakes. I mean...people were seriously asking for a fucking 'Point Break' remake? Seriously? I see you've elevated your cane-shaking game. Fuck you and rock on!

Grown people still fork out money for these things? Agreed. Grown fucking men discussing which fictitious character is superior. Wanna impress me? Have Batman and Superman taking turns double teaming fucking Wonder Woman.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why these directors cannot get Lex Luthor or Doctor Doom right. Every film version of those characters has sucked. Hell, the Smallville Lex may have been the best one.
I was really hoping they would have landed Bryan Cranston for Lex in B v S, but Eisenberg is apparently confirming my suspicions that he was horribly miscast.

Doom is the one that really pisses me off Marvel's greatest villain and he gets wasted by WB on two shitty Fantastic Four movies. Marvel needs to get the rights back.
