Some cool parts, some not so cool parts:
Eisenberg appears miscast as Lex Luthor. I was hoping for a darker, more brooding version and here he is more like Jim Carrey.
Doomsday looks like Abomination from The Hulk movie.
Cool to see The Trinity onscreen, but they essentially ruined Wonder Woman's entrance.
It's clear now that it's gone from Batman v. Superman to Batman, Superman and WW v. Lex and Doomsday. They basically gave away the whole plot device as well as a large chunk of the final scenes.
I dig Affleck's version of Batman...older, tired, salty and full of rage.

Would be a lot more excited if that hack motherfucker Zack Snyder wasn't directing.

Agreed with all of this Why they got that awkward little faggot from Zombieland to play Lex Luthor and then totally change Luthor's origin and occupation is beyond me. I'll still go see it because...well, it's Batman vs Superman. But I'm looking forward to Deadpool and Civil War a helluva lot more. X-Men: Apocalypse, too. Not to mention the 2nd season of Daredevil. In fact, Marvel's movies/TV shows shit all over DC's efforts.

He was Perfect as Zuckerberg in the Social Network and every role he has played since feels like Zuckerberg trying to play act. They should just end his career now. I'm not really sure they "gave away" the plot device. It is "dawn of justice" and everyone knows BM and SM are the good guys.

Agreed on Eisenberg, who I actually like in some things. Just bad casting, along with the Affleck and Amy Adams choices. Big fan of the Harley Quinn selection in the DC universe though Will Smith is another bad choice however. Meanwhile, seems like Marvel nails every character choice. Did u guys see the doc on HBO about the never-made Burton/Cage Superman movie? Pretty interesting. Spacey was to be that Luther too. Thought he was ok in the Roth version, but couldn't do it now. The House of Cards role might have been too distracting. If anything, Cage might not have been a bad choice for Luthor in this. They wanted Sandra Bullock for that Lois Lane, Chris Rock as Jimmy Olson and Christopher Walken as Brainiac.

My biggest gripe with the Nolan Batman movies (which despite being good movies, are overrated as fuck IMO) is that they take themselves WAY too seriously. I don't even feel like I'm watching a Batman movie. I feel like I'm watching some standard, Hollywood crime-thriller with some guy in a fucking bat suit. The Keaton/Burton Batman movies might be dated now, but they're still more enjoyable to me.

Grown people still fork out money for these things?

Grown people still fork out money for these things? Sure I'd say a huge chunk of the audience who goes to these movies are people 35-70 who grew up reading comics as kids. And I'd certainly go see a Batman vs Superman flick over some pretentious, 2 1/2 hour bullshit about concussions in football, the latest rom-com, or the latest in a long line of shitty remakes. I mean...people were seriously asking for a fucking 'Point Break' remake? Seriously?

Here's the movie in 15 seconds. Will Smith and Some Other Jewish Lawyers: The NFL is giving people concussions and aren't being truthful about it. NFL: No way Will Smith: Uh huh NFL: Na uh Will Smith: Uh huh NFL: Ok we are THE END

How is this even a competition? Superman can destroy Batman. This whole premise just seems lame

How is this even a competition? Superman can destroy Batman. This whole premise just seems lame Superman has a record of having an unusually difficult time dealing with human villains. So, it fits the character history. That said, I always felt the man of steel was a chronic underachiever. I've always felt the SM story would be more interesting if he was so despondent about his existence on earth that he turned to recreational drugs as an escape mechanism, and was battling villains while chasing the dragon.

He was always boring as shit to me. No matter who was writing him. Alan Moore couldn't even make Superman interesting. He's essentially invincible, so you can't kill him (even when Doomsday "killed" him in Death of Superman, it was revealed that he just sinks into a temporary coma until he recovers). And he's the ultimate, goody two-shoes boy scout so he never really wrestles with any sort of moral dilemma.

That being said, you now already know that they're at odds for most of the movie and then when Lex Luthor brings back Zod in the form of Doomsday, Wonder Woman pops up, BM and SM stop fighting, they form the Trinity and fight LL and Doomsday together.
