I figured there was no point to on the guy further. I hope 32 watches it (if he knows what Netflix is). I would be anxious to hear his views. Yes I know what it is. Havent seen it, but would it surprise me that a bunch of inbred half-wits ran into some un-ethical, dirty cops? Nope. There are plenty of both around. Definitely. Watch the show. But y r u an expert? Not calling u out I just don't know ur background. Just curious. I have no clue in these matters as I'm not an inbred hick nor a dirty cop. But it makes me mad seeing this BS. It does remind me of paradise lost where u have some fucking a-hole cops who can't find the real killer so they coerce some brain dead absolute shit for brains dumby to actually admit a murder he didn't commit because he's so stupid that he thinks if he says what the cops want him to say that he'll b home in time to watch cartoons that nite. It's mind boggling to an average mind but u have to c hear these idiots and u have to c the cops pulling these "confessions" out of these r$&tareded kids. It's sick and sad and should b illegal.

Cops love me, they always visit me as soon as I get out of the can.

The really annoying part is their quasi-Canadian acccents... Id have murdered someone too if I had to listen to that every day.

32G is an expert on black studies and large watches. Also his thesis on "Reverse Reverse Racism" is a must read! One of my better works....full of hand-wringing and media-driven false-narratives, with a dose of self-hatred and latent-racist platitudes... and those teen bodies keep filling urban morgues (just like we secretly want, YAY!!!!!!) The militias eat that stuff up, boy howdy.

Scary thing is that it seems like the opposite of innocent until proven guilty in Wisconsin. More like guilty until knida proven somewhat guilty. I wonder if they'd be treating Aaron Rodgers this way!

Yeah, exactly. Guy pretty much went to jail wrongly on the rape charge because some broad didnt like him, and her friend was married to a deputy, and they told the victim "Oh, that sounds JUST like Steven Avery" then made a sketch based on a picture of him.
Which is another question I had - what kind of qualifications do these back-woods deputies need to have? Seems like they're not going through any sort of academies or such; i could be wrong...

I don't think the documentary makers intended the question of whether they "did it" to be the central issue. It is more about the "system" of justice. Are the tactics of the police something that regular folks would consider fair and in keeping with our innocent until proven guilty sense of justice? Was Avery railroaded twice? Once for a crime he clearly did not commit, and a second time for one he did? Did his 18 years in prison as an innocent man change him? The fact is that many people who live in urban areas rightly question the degree of fairness they receive in the justice system. In rural America most people think the police and prosecutors never lie. Sadly, like every occupation, there is good and bad. Tragically, a bad cop/prosecutor can do you far greater harm than a bad plumber. IMO, the number of ex-military in the police is a bad thing. I do believe that a Military trained mindset (us versus them) is inconsistent with the community-minded training we should want in our police officers/Investigators. I'd be curious about the background of the questionable law enforcement characters in the Avery cases. However, I must say the fat cop who drew the sketch in Avery's first case, struck me as a third generation legacy cop who was in it for the "war" stories and pension.

Dassey said Avery cleaned it up... True... but unless we're talking real gomer-level CSI folks, Avery would have to have been a mastermind crime scene cleaner to get it all and for them to find nothing, right?... I think that was one of the points one of the defense experts made.

Dassey said Avery cleaned it up... So, they cleaned up everything -- all the blood and her DNA-- but left Avery's DNA as well as bullet? I'm not saying Avery didn't do it, but that's impossible. And wasn't the prosecutor in Avery 2 disbarred or something for sex-related conduct?
