I'm finally over the Buffalo loss, it's taken two weeks of abusin my friends and family and bein a total twat to generally anyone I come across but I'm over it, time to turn the page.
I'm still disgusted with this team for losin two games and giving that fat fuck the satisfaction of knockin us out of the playoffs but it is what it is.
Now the dust has settled it was a pretty good season, we made strides and did a lot of un-Jet like things, the future looks bright and I'm very impressed with this CS and that's pretty much the meaning of this thread.
What do you want to see goin forward? Here's mine.......
Resign Powell.
Resign Snacks.
Resign Fitztragic (need continuity on offense until somethin better comes along)
Re work Brick.
Let Ivory walk.
Tag Mo and work out a long term deal.
Trade $heldon, never signing this guy to Suh money long term, he's a fuckin nightmare so get a high 2nd if possible.
Target Lamar Miller.
Target Alshon Jeffery using Marshall as bait, imagine them two outside with Deck in the slot.
Draft providing we get and extra 2nd for $heldon..,.
Rd 1 OLB Rd 2 QB Rd 2 RT Rd 3 G Rd 4 RB
Only thing I'm not to sure of is which other OLB free agent to pair with our first rounder, obviously T Hali and Von Miller are FA but I can't see them hittin the market.
I've addressed speed at RB and LB, sured up the O-line, got a QB to develop and given Fitz another weapon.
What do you want to see?

Outside of your Alshon pipe dream, it's a fairly reasonable agenda. That, and no one's taking Sheldon off our hands; his values is low ATM and he's not costly to keep around another year.
Draft wise: I know you're just throwing out a rough plan, but it's clear this is a BPA kind of FO. But i expect an emphasis on LB, RB and QB. We won't spending like Iverson this offseason, but landing a proven OLB would be nice.
What I want to see?
What's the identity of this Bowles/Mac franchise? Gone is the ground and pound, play good D mantra. So what are we? If Chan & co. are going to be our calling card, then fuck Thompkins, Enunwa, Ivory etc. all these guys that didn't show up this season for stretches.
-draft another stud WR -youth in the Oline (doesn't have to be blue chip OT) -Get us a bellcow back -Find me new boss at LB for this D to rally around. -Pettigrew

I agree mack seems a BPA type of dude. I've got to believe a Marshall will be all over recruiting Jeffery, I don't think we will be very active in FA but I think we could be in plsy for 1 or 2 top tier guys.

My dream scenario would be to:
Clean up the roster: -let Ivory/Davis/Kerly/Cro/Snacks walk -extend Mo/Fitz, -resigning Powell, -rstr Brick.
Next, FA: -sign an OLB like Nick Perry (GB). He's young, affordable and there's some untapped potential there. -Find a bandaide at NT for the time being; Knighton, Raji, Rubin.
Draft: M. Jack (LB, UCLA) D. Robinson (WR, Florida) W. Beaver (LT, W. Michigan) K. Hunt (RB, Toledo) D. King (OLB, Norfolk State) B. Braunecker (TE, harvard)
Only thing that isn't addressed there is the QB position. I just don't see anything of value there past Wentz who will only get more popular as we close in on April.

As i've said elsewhere, I value Harrison - but it's time he got paid. He's going to want to get his "big" contract that he's been playing for. Don't think we can/need to pay that price. And honestly, of all the "holes" to fill, finding a run-stuffing NT is not the hardest one. They're not a premium like a QB killer at OLB, or a reliable shut down corner. They're just hogs.

We're either tagging & trading Mo & keeping Snacks or we're letting Snacks walk while resigning Mo. Think that's what Sheldon was voicing that last interview the day we lost vs. the Bills.

Adding onto all of this, for the love of god go out and find a serviceable TE. Amaro will be back next year, and maybe he is the answer, but we desperately need a big target to break up the middle of the field. This league is quickly more and more leaning towards TEs as offensive centerpieces - our offense did well this year completely in spite of not having a single decent option at the position. We were last in the league in TE targets, receptions, everything. Our success on offense will not last long if that trend continues. Enunwa showed promise in his hybrid-TE whatever the hell you want to call it role but he isn't the answer. Get. a. TE.

Fuckin NE literally revolves around theirs and they are fucked without it. And people wanna fire Chan and drop Fitz and sign fuckin Kapernick after the first season where we've had an offense in 20 years, breaking franchise records. lulz. Of course we need to focus on offense bigtime and ffs get a damn reliable TE WHO CAN CATCH!!! Also, FUCK Kenbrell Tompkins and FUCK Ridley. Was worth a shot and we had to dig from the trash, but enough of that bullshit. Enunwa way too unreliable. Some of these drops have lost games for us. Tompkins can't handle the clutch moment, and Enunwa needs 3 or 4 tries at the clutch moment before he maybe comes thru. Ivory was clearly busted up after dominating early. His legs will start breaking down soon. Still keep him, but he can't be the feature back. Love Powell, he aint goin nowhere but we need to find a good 1A/B in the draft or elsewhere. We seem pretty good at finding RBs so i'm not gonna worry about that. Curious to see what TB and MM do on the defense side... A purge is needed. The Defense completely let us down. Fuck those guys and their half ass bullshit. They don't even deliver punishing hits. How the fuck do you not go out there to take Brady out of the game?! Especially after being busted cheating repeatedly?! GTFO

We've been waiting and waiting for Milliner. He was on the injury list and missed more games after he came back from IR for the wrist. He can't get a chance if he can't get and stay healthy for a single snap. McDougle seems pretty fragile too. CB is going to be a position of need before long again.
